it is "in use" it cannot be deleted or tranfered. When i go to the properties of the dvd drive and delete it, it is gone, but the dvd file remains in use. After restarting, the dvd drive is back.

Sorry, forgot to mention, restarting doesn;t help. Shutting down and rebooting either.

So i have mounted a virtual dvd on windows 10, like usual, but after ejecting it, the dvd drive didn't disapear and i cannot delete the dvd i had mounted before because i get an error (see image). My laptop doesn't have a diskdrive, but it still shows up in "my computer" and when i double click it, it asks for a disk. No way to remove it either. When i try to remove the dvd in question, windows tells me it is open in another program. I went into the disk management, but i cannot do anything with the partitions, when i right-click, it only says "help" and redirects me to a useless mircosoft site. I want to remove this without resorting to a clean install to windows 10 if possible. There are no restore points to go back to and googling this issue didn't yield any results. Does anyone know how i can fix this?

So, ever since the new windows 10 update my xbox one controller won't stop behaving like a mouse and keyboard and it is driving me insane. When i use the left analog stick, it moves the mouse, when pressing the "B" button it right-clicks with the mouse for example. I tried to google the problem, but all i get are steam stuff like big picture mode or other steam related problems, which i do not even have installed at this point and yet the problem persists. The biggest drawback of this, is that i cannot play any game normally (via steam or through emulators), since the game switched between keyboard/mouse and controller constantly when i press or do anything with the controller. I uninstalled the latest update, but that did not fix it for me sadly, so the update must have changed SOMETHING that makes the controller behave this way. Does anyone know how i can fix this?

That is a lot of info you gave us, especially how you said what cables you use, what videocard you have and what type the monitor is, so we can DEFINITELY help you! oh wait.

So i was thinkering with my settings today and noticed that certain background processes were busy when i was not aware of them. Some i have fixed, but i stumbled upon the following: *see image* Not sure if this was always there, so i thought i ask the forum. I never noticed it on my previous windows installment at least (or did not pay attention to it until now) When i collapse it, it just says "start".

i have everything at defaults, use the latest version (430.86) - i also have no custom resolutions. I do not have the option at all in the menu, is usually was in between these settings (see image), but i do not have it ;A;

So i wanted to enable DSR in the drivers the other day, but it is not showing up in the drivers. Do i miss something or did they remove it from their drivers?

i see, that would explain the sub-par partition i can make now (it finished after 3 horus or so, only gained 130 ish GB)

No i have full acces to the drive. I just cannot make a partition of that drive larger than 330gb, when there is 870gb free.

So i have a laptop with a 1TB HDD (no SSD) and it only has 1 drive, the ? drive. I want to make a new partition of 800~GB and leave about 130 for the OS to breathe in. However, when i want to make a partition i can only assign 330GB~ to the new drive. Is there a way to increase this size? I have well over 870GB free space, so why can't i make the partition bigger?

I am planning to buy a second hand pc with DDR4 memory, however, what speed to i look for? The ram says 3000MHz on the box, but with DDR3 you see 1500MHz in HWinfo, is this the same for DDR4?

So i was planning on my weekly Linus shot, i noticed the WANshow has been deleted (i saw it yesterday on youtube, well, the thumbnail, not the show itself) Does LTT plans on returning the video at some point? Or was the topics discussed so controversial that snowflake youtube could not handle it?

not an option, chrome has everything integrated, i have no intention to switch browsers.

So i have been having this issue for a while and i decided i have enough of it and ask for some help. When i watch a youtube video that is 60fps, it will display the correct framerate when in windowed mode and in "large window mode" - but when i press "fullscreen" the framerate is all over the place. I do not have this problem when using a browser like firefox or even microsoft Edge. I am pretty sure my laptop can handle it too, i never had problems with it somewhere in 2017, but one day to the next it happened and it always was there, system recovery did not help and updating drivers did not help either. i7 4750HQ@3.2Ghz GTX980M 16GB RAM Windows 10 64bit So if anyone knows a good solution then that would be nice If anyone else is having this i would like to hear from them too. Try to play games at 4K with that without microstutter, you simply cannot do that. SLI does not even get support these days as well.

Does not even come close to console standard though. GPu is far underpowered.
