I am trying to upgrade my freeness server to the latest 10.0.0 update and it says (Update server could not be reached 'Cannot upgrade from FreeNAS 9.x to Corral') an ideas? thanks!

i did not have it on a static ip at first. but i did try it after having this problem, and it didn't help.

I have a dell r710 running freenas and it has been running for about 2 weeks and it now decided too disconnect all clients connected too it and it would let you reconnect. I then tried rebooting and now it cant find any IP address. thx

I am looking for a server case with 10 hot-swap SATA interface bays(or more), can fit a microATX board, a standard ATX Power supply, and on the cheap. Any suggestions?

I would suggest looking at a different router than what your ISP gives you. I use a pfsense router and I LOVE IT you don't need anything to crazy, just a old PC will work great or if you want you can build a custom one too.

I have a pfsense router with 4gb of ram and a core 2 duo and a internet speed of 15 down and 2 up. We will be getting a new ISP and will get a Download of 70 and upload of 30 i am wondering if a core 2 duo will be fast enough to handle those speeds new speeds?? thx
