You can buy windows from places like kinguin, its much cheaper, but I wouldn't recommend it.
You can get a smaller hard drive and ssd to get a GTX 1070 instead of the RX 480.

Speculations are going around the web that Intel might release 2 new cpus in response to AMD's upcoming Ryzen processors. First one, is the Core i7 7740K, this processor is clocked at 4.3GHz, 100MHz higher, than the Core i7 7700K and has a higher TDP of 100w vs 91w TDP on the 7700K. Next up is the Core i5 7640K, where it will have a based clock of 4GHz, compared to the standard 3.8GHz on the 7600K. One unique feature for this i5, is the support of Hyper Thread. No turbo boost clock were mentioned for both processors and for now this is just a rumor.

I would actually get 32GBs of RAM, a 650w power supply, or 750w if you ever plan to go to sli, and also at least a 240GB SSD, because 120GB ones tend to have less performance compared to the 240GB+ ones.

So as the title says, AMD have released their Q4 financials, the main table is below, follow the link to the full report.

    Hilights:
Revenue was down 15% sequentially to $1.11 billion, beating expectations of an 18% decline. The Computing & Graphics segment revenue increased by $128 million to $600 million while making a small operating loss of $21 million, this is opposed to a loss of $99 million a year ago. Enterprise, Embedded & Semi-Custom experienced a $329 million decline in revenue to $506 million while making a profit of $47 million, a decrease of $12 million from the previous year. AMD attributes the lower operating income to increased R&D spending in this segment. Long-term debt down $198 million to $1.435 billion, this is opposed to more than $2 billion the previous year. Short-term debt is flat from the previous quater at $0, opposed to $230 million the previous year. Cash reserves of $1.264 billion, up from $1.258 billion the previous quater and $785 million the previous year, an increase of $506 million. TL;DR AMD is in a much more stable position financially than the previous year, with much more healthy deficits and slicing their debt in half.

Some firsthand information, sorry for any grammatical mistakes. I got this mouse for $25 off newegg which is quite the steal considering if you wanted to buy directly from Fnatic its like $70 or newegg at $50
Also most of it is going to be compared to the Razer Deathadder Chroma. (i've RMA'd my DA like twice for the same issue which is a no no in my books)

    Unboxing
The box itself has a flap which shows the information which is pretty interesting and different from other brands, It shows all the internal specs like the
Sensor (Pixart 3310) Switches (Omron D2FC-F-7N) MCU (Holtek Ht68FB560) While other brands only show it saying "wow 10000 dpi, must buy rgb dank"

Inside there literally nothing but a manual, nice and simple.

    Build Quality
Shell: Its got a nice matte black rubberized plastic finish, Feels very solid to the palm. Macros: The macros itself have a glossy plastic finish, isn't that slippery once it warms up to your palm                                    Mouse Wheel: Very solid and does not shake, Its pretty heavy to scroll through compared to the DA but feels more tactile. Sensor Housing: l felt absolutely no sensor rattling, The sensor is guarded by small layered grooves on the bottom of the shell. Sliders: The sliders have the same feel as the macros themselves same glossy plastic finish. glides very well on my Steelseries QCK no problems here.

    Ergonomics/Size
To be completely honest the DA's Ergonomics is highly superior compared to the Flick
Main issue is your pinkie on the Flick has no where to rest (Honestly dosen't bother me because the rubber finish opposed to cheap plastic on the DA helps you grip the mouse much better)

    W: 68.0mm
    L: 126.0mm
    H: 40.0mm

So enough of these pictures, is the 3310 sensor good?
So in game the only problem I have encountered was random sensor jitters when going pixel by pixel, prob a firmware issue, I doubt the Fnatic dev team will care to fix.
This problem occurred rarely was just something that happened.

Other than that this sensor is a absolute beast, compared to the DA's famous 3988 it works very nice

Overall a great sensor on this mouse, would've wanted a 3366 but eh.

    RGB customization
There are 3 White LED's It is a profile indication, 1 means first, 2nd means second profile, and all 3 of them lighting up means Third profile and You're supposed to be able to change the color but idk how

This is honestly the stupidest thing i've ever seen in a mouse next to the rival 700's OLED screen, I could care less about the little LED's lol

The diode itself compared to the DA or hell even my K65 RGB is very saturated and very bright, Rate it 10/10

All set to same color # (Camera picks up colors differently than Real life)

    Grip?

    (showing palm and Claw)
Using palm and even with the weird pinkie eargo, feels great, lifts great (Sorry about the weird claw)

    Conclusion
So was this mouse worth it? Hell yea stole it for $25 off newegg, Great mouse, okay eargonomics, Great RGB, Overall a very nice mouse   Great replacement for my DA Chroma

Hydraxiler32 reacted to Glenwing in "2K" does not mean 2560×1440
Terms like "2K" and "4K" don’t refer to specific resolutions. They are resolution categories. They are used to classify resolutions based on horizontal pixel count. "2K" refers to resolutions that have around 2,000 (2K) pixels horizontally. Examples include:
    1920 × 1080 (16:9) 1920 × 1200 (16:10) 2048 × 1080 (≈19:10) 2048 × 1152 (16:9) 2048 × 1536 (4:3) All of these are examples of 2K resolutions. 1920×1080 is a 2K resolution. 2048×1080 is another 2K resolution. 2560×1440 is not a 2K resolution, it is a 2.5K resolution.

"2.5K" refers to resolutions around 2,500 (2.5K) pixels horizontally. For example:
    2304 × 1440 (16:10) 2400 × 1350 (16:9) 2560 × 1080 (64:27 / ≈21:9) 2560 × 1440 (16:9) 2560 × 1600 (16:10) All of these are examples of 2.5K resolutions.

So why do people call 2560×1440 "2K"?

Because when "4K" was new to the consumer market, people would ask: "What's 4K?", and usually the response was "it’s four times as many pixels as 1080p". Unfortunately most people misinterpreted this and assumed that the "4" in "4K" actually stood for "how many times 1080p" the resolution was, and since 2560×1440 is popularly known as being "twice as many pixels as 1080p" (it's 1.77 times, but close enough), some people decided to start calling it "2K", and other people heard that and repeated it.

While it’s true that 4K UHD (3840×2160) is four times as many pixels as 1920×1080, that isn’t why it’s called "4K". It’s called 4K because it's approximately 4,000 pixels horizontally. The fact that it’s also 4 × 1080p is just a coincidence, and that pattern doesn’t continue with other resolutions.

For example, the 5K resolution featured in the Retina 5K iMac, 5120×2880, is equivalent to four 2560×1440 screens. If 1440p is "2K" because it’s twice as many pixels as 1080p, then wouldn’t four of them together be called "8K"? (Well, technically 7K since like I said 1440p is 1.77 times not 2 times 1080p, but that’s beside the point). We don’t call it 7K or 8K. We call it 5K, because it's around 5,000 pixels horizontally. It has nothing to do with "how many times 1080p" the resolution is.

In addition, an actual 8K resolution such as 8K UHD (7680×4320) is equivalent to four 4K UHD screens. A single 4K UHD screen is four times as many pixels as 1080p, so four of those together is sixteen times as many pixels as 1080p. But 7680×4320 isn't called "16K", it’s called "8K", because it’s approximately 8,000 pixels horizontally. Again it doesn't have anything to do with "how many times 1080p" the resolution is.

So although 2560×1440 is around twice as many pixels as 1080p, it is not called "2K", because that isn’t where these names come from. Since 2560×1440 is approximately 2,500 pixels horizontally, it falls into the 2.5K classification.
