  1. So there's this ad on my local second-hand selling site and I wondered if it was any good, or if it's just better to buy new. The ad goes as follows: Pentium G4560 GTX 1050ti Gigabyte B150M-HD3 motherboard Some no-brand 8GB of DDR4 2133mhz 600 watt PSU from Xilence a 'gamery' case 1080p 144hz 1ms monitor that's actually pretty decent For this he's asking 550 euros, or about $650. Is it any good?
  2. So i'm currently shopping for a PCI-E WiFi card for in my computer because i'm unable to route an ethernet cable to my PC. So i've learnt there's this high speed type of technology called 802.11ac, but i'm not sure if it will affect me or not. My router doesn't support AC, and the maximum down speed is 9mbps, so will it make any difference to buy a 70$ card or a 12$ one? Thanks.
  3. Isn't DVI restricted to 30fps 1080p or something like that?
  4. That's a good idea yeah, does the GTX1060 out of the box come with a cable that supports that monitor? Also some websites say that it has a 18 ms response time, how much of that is true?
  5. That one looks horrible and plasticky, i was thinking about the BenQ GW series GW2270, is that one any good? https://www.amazon.com/BenQ-GW2270-9H-LE5LB-QPA-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B019EFMK1I/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1476379594&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=BenQ+GW+series+GW2270
  6. I've seen some good ones too but the problem is that OR they're 90$ and have gigantic bezels and look like crap, or look dope as hell and have 12 ms response time. i'm honestly not sure which one to pick and i'm questioning just sticking with my old 1600x900 22" monitor i found somewhere.
  7. it's currently sitting at 142.38 US Dollars
  8. Is the Corsair VS550 any good? Or the Be Quiet! System Power 8 500W? The one you linked is hilariously expensive in my country for some reason. I've heard good things about that Seasonic one though, from a guy who knew alot about it. Also that wifi card is 50 euros... is the TP-LINK Archer T8 any good?
  9. Hello folks, I am looking to build a new computer. I've put together a parts list, but I'd love to get your feedback and thoughts, since this is a pretty unique build in my (limited) experience. Before I go further: 1. My absolute max budget is 1000$ (Monitor and PC) 2. I'd like this build for gaming, i'm not a content creater or do any heavy productivity. This is the build: Mobo: MSI B150M Mortar CPU: i5-6500 GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 6G PSU: SeaSonic S12II-520 Bronze RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 2x4 SSD: ADATA Premier SP550 (120gb) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB Case: Bitfenix Nova Monitor: Iiyama G-Master Black Hawk WiFi adapter: TP-Link TL-WN881ND I checked PcPartPicker and there aren't any problems. Is this okay for 1080p gaming? Thanks guys!
  10. Well they're not priced similarly, the motherboard in my original build is 65 euros and that board is 114 haha. So it doesn't support Skylake? Does that mean it's completely incompatible?
  11. I'm going with the board and PSU you linked me, but what's actually wrong with the board in my original build?
  12. Those boards are 144$ where I live, and i can barely find them...
