In Event Viewer the BugCheck returns an error: 0x00000124. Only thing i found out is that it is a critical hardware error but no details about it. I don't see any important info other than some general info.

Hello. Recently i grabbed an old external hard drive, took it out of it's case and put it into my pc. After that, my pc shuts randomly off, no matter if i am gaming or just browsing the web. The hard drive is not new and it DOES have >1000 bad sectors. I used HDD Regenerator to repair them but it still keeps shutting off. It is starting to annoy me, before installing the new HDD everything was fine. Any suggestions what should i do with it? I also don't think that is thermal-related, because the drive sits right behind a fan and has even lover temps that my main SSHD. Specs of my PC: CPU: FX-6300 Mobo: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 GPU: GTX 960 PSU: Corsair VS450 Main SSHD Model: ST1000DX001-1CM162 HDD causing problems: SAMSUNG HD103SI

And what about the AMD OverDrive? I saw a video that the program raises the clock and tests its stability, if it reaches the unstable speed, it reboots and set the clock to the stable one.

Ok, i think i will save up a little. One more question, what can happen to the CPU if its overcloked and the voltage is too low?

So what clock speed can i achieve on a Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 without messing with the voltage and on a box cooler? The AMD OverDrive is safe for overclocking?

Is there any Intel CPU in the same price as the FX6300 and has better performance? Or maybe overclocking the FX would be a better choice?
