  1. Yeah... cheaped out on a motherboard and now I am paying for it... A Fan HUB and a motherboard with 1 additional fan header. It's a H110M-A, so I guess it does what the price was. Thanks for the help!
  2. You might actually be right... I was being stubborn and didn't follow the manual, it asked for the CPU Fan and I used a SYS_FAN Header, thinking it was going to be just fine, I will give it a try!
  3. My Phanteks Fan HUB just delivered and I have spent the past hour screwing in fans and stuff. When I booted it up, the fans ran at their max speed, I can hear them spinning from 2 meters away. The fans are NZXT FN V2, and they are plugged directly into the fan hub. The packaging contains 2 fan splitter(?) that can be plugged into the Fan HUB's 6 fan headers, but I am unsure if that will help. Since they are 3 pin fans, I understand that the Fan HUB just lowers and increases the voltage to slow or fasten the fans, but will splitting a fan header on the Fan HUB lower the voltage, but when the computer needs more cooling for intensive things, increase the voltage? Assuming the headers on the Fan HUBs are individually powered and are given a limited supply of power. Sorry if these questions are kinda dumb, my understanding of PMW and fans aren't the best, but I am learning! 4. Crap, mistook it for a molex to 3 pin fan connector. Thanks for the help! Solved!
  5. Is there a cheaper option? $24 seems a bit.. expensive. If there isn't I will consider it, as I have to anyways, it's decently hot here in Vancouver
  6. Thermaltake View 27. Regret it, but it's been 5 months...
  7. Agreed. But this was in january, I had to skimp on it. I wanted 8 GB of RAM (HyperX) and I wanted a decent i5. I had $380 on hand. $250 on CPU, $70 on HyperX RAM, and the $60 on the MB, I had to :P
  8. H110M-A. Kind of cheaped out on it, because I wanted a i5 atleast. (i5 6500) Since its a MATX board, it has 1 fan header, thus why I am looking for a fan hub.
  9. My case itself supports up to 4 fans, but I would like more just incase, so maybe more than 6 connectors? The NZXT fans are from my brother's NZXT H440, they are white if that helps. Either FX V2 Airflow or Radiator. and Now that you mention fan controlling, it would be great to have it to not be loud.
  10. That's fine if I don't return it, I wouldn't mind replacing my old iphone 5 to let my mom use it (iphone 4) Since the phone was originally dead when my uncle brought it over, plugging it in shows me the battery and the lightning cable plugged in icon. But then it fizzles off and dies completely again, telling me it was accepting charge, but stopped after a few seconds.
  11. Nothing too fancy, just something that will power some simple NZXT fans. Computer is currently running on 1 exhaust fan and a CPU cooler in the summer heat...
  12. I need a Fan HUB, but I cannot find a decent number of connectors with a cheap price. I've looked at the Thermaltake Fan HUB, but $24 is not justifiable. What do you people recommend? Preferably a place a young Canadian can purchase from
  13. Changed the battery link! Opinion on this one? https://www.amazon.ca/1440mAh-5-45Whr-Polymer-Replacement-battery/dp/B00ZR1Y8DC
  14. Oh shit! I will find another one, good eye! EDIT: How about this one? https://www.amazon.ca/1440mAh-5-45Whr-Polymer-Replacement-battery/dp/B00ZR1Y8DC
  15. Yeah, it has been used for a few years, think he got it when it was released. I have prepared my amazon cart with the tool and battery itself but I don't know if I should bite the bullet and buy it all. He doesn't want a new phone and he seems to be quite happy with it, I won't try to encourage him. either way, he still wants the data on it regardless.
