  1. Free alternatives to photoshop and premiere pro are GARBAGE, and im a broke 23 year old, i aint payin adobe $50/month so i can enjoy my hobby of content creation. I also got the "crack" (its more of a patcher not a crack) from the "official" source of GenP. Theyve been around as long as Creative Cloud has been. they are as reputable as it gets when it comes to cracking/patching
  2. Why would it take a month and a half to flag that?
  3. I Havent installed/downloaded anything (other than twitch vods of my own) in about a week and a half. I religiously do DAILY scans with windows defender and it never flags anything. Just randomly today while im in a game it gives me a popup like "HEY YOU HAVE THREATS" Any idea what these could be from? I dont download cheats for my games or anything. The most "suspicious" thing ive downloaded recently was GenP (an adobe cracker, thats VERY reputable) but that was about a month and a half ago. Most recent thing i installed was OperaGX about a week and a half ago.
  4. I just checked micro center, ebay, and amazon. All 3 show me over $300 before i even have ram in the cart with a 5700x3d. Those chips are about $250 themselves
  5. Would you say to go with an x3d chip over a regular x chip? I'm not at a point where I am ready to drop all the money to upgrade to am5 and DDR5 currently, just want to get to a solid point with this setup where its at. Total Budget for CPU & RAM upgrade is about $300. theres a little bit of wiggle room there if needed though. Though If i go with a crazy hot chip, I will probably need to get a new cooler as well, because I am currently running a coolermaster 120mil AIO i got with my first build when ryzen first launched with my 1600x.
  6. Just like the title says, I am Looking to potentially add a second GPU to my system to help with encoding for my livestreams. My current system: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600x RAM: Trident Z Neo 2x8 @ 3600 GPU: EVGA RTX 2080ti What I am planning to get as part of my "upgrade" to help me stream and game on this system more proficiently CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x Ram: Teamgroup Tforce 2x32 @ 3600 GPU: Intel Arc A380 The CPU will be a drop in replacement obviously, ram will be added to what I already have to make a total of 80gb, and arc card will also be added to strictly encode. Though my big question is even when I am streaming and gaming on my current system, is this all even worth it? My CPU sits at 95% utilization, ram at 90%, and gpu just chillin at like 60% (All according to task manager). I do notice major dips in frame in the games i play (call of duty and helldivers) when i am streaming. But when I am not streaming and playing these games I feel like I am leaving performance on the table because nothing ever goes above 70% utilization if i am only play the game and not streaming.
  7. After watching a few videos on the topic, I decided to enable Re-Bar in bios for my system. I open the EVGA Precision X1 software and it says that my GPU is not new enough. I have an EVGA 2080ti. Upon my research online, this card supports Re-Bar. Any suggestions?
  8. I have discord open connected to one fairly inactive server, but im a member of a lot of servers. from what i can see, streamlabs obs takes most of my resources, along with spotify.
  9. Its on the factory air cooler with fresh paste and most of the thermal pads.
  10. Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Call of Duty, Helldivers 2, Halo, streaming with Streamlabs OBS, editing with premiere pro. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I currently have a system that works most of the time but I’m wanting to get more into the content creation side of things and it’s struggling to keep up. cpu: ryzen 5 3600x mobo: Mai Meg x570 ace ram: 2x8 16gb 3200mhz kit gpu: evga 2080ti psu: thermaltake 650w i have the cpu “turned up to 11” in the bios and regularly see 4+ ghz out of it, I have the gpa under locked as I bought it second hand and was told there’s no thermal pads on the vram because he had it in a water block (which he included) and I don’t want to fry it. It’s been stable like this for over a year. while streaming helldivers 2 I run the game at sub 30fps. Call of duty I run 60-100fps. Both my cpu and ram are maxed according to task manager. What would be the sensible thing for me to upgrade next?
  11. Now I know the LTT crew has done a video on this in the past, though I can not find it. I have acquired an older dell 7010 optiplex and plan to use it as somewhat of an “external hard drive” server for my personal data. It will only be me accessing it, and I have no worries about sensitive data as I Dont intend to keep any on there. That said I only plan to access this from my main desktop (windows 11) and am curious if just making the drive(s) network shared on windows or a Linux setup would be better/easier. I have never really used Linux before so I’ll have absolutely 0 idea what I’m doing.
  12. I submitted a ticket to the email i "thought" it was, but I can not find any email history from rockstar on any emails, so I honestly dont know. and to be completely honest: in 2020 some friends and i all downloaded the 2take1 mod menu, played for a few months and then havent touched it since. redownloaded today and found this.
  13. This SPECIFIC account has the last 13 years of grinding on GTA online on it. and upon my research I cant unlink the account, once a steam and gta online account are linked, they cant be unlinked. i would have to rebuy the game.
  14. I just redownloaded GTAV after 2 years of not touching it and go to launch it, it downloads and opens the rockstar social club and pops this up. I have NEVER had an email like this, and upon googling the domain I found that this is a "hijacking" of my account and I have NO idea what to do.
  15. https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/compare/4917vs4409/Radeon-RX-7800-XT-vs-GeForce-RTX-3080-Ti The 3080ti had a decent bit better score according to this site, but it all comes down to what resolution you run, what games you play and so on. IF you can find a used 3090 in your price range, I would definitely go that route over ANYTHING else. Though take everything I and the others are saying with a grain of salt, after all, we are just strangers on the internet. Don't purchase anything off of just what we say, do your own research to verify what we say
  16. Im assuming its long since past but you could have had ebay deal with that, refund you and such. when i buy used parts i prefer facebook marketplace craigslist and offer up. then theres an actual conversation that takes place so you can see if anyones up to shady things. then the meet is in person, and if youre any good at reading people, theres your chance to shine.
  17. I personally think that board MAY be a bit overkill for your cpu and gpu, though i do not know intel board that well. if this was an amd build i would tell you to get a b series board instead of an x series, im sure intel has an equivalent though i can not think of what it is.
  18. That was a given, i was recommending a gpu based on his price stated for that. I have no issue with his chosen cpu upgrade
  19. Honestly the only one ive ever used was that xfx rx580 that liked to start on fire. that said, their drivers are not ad advanced as nvidia or so im told. That is a solid PSU, i guess i hadnt realized how much they have dropped in price lately. There is nothing wrong with buying used components, just like buying used anything the only real thing to look out for is scummy people, though most people will be up front with issues, some will not and you have to have a keen eye to spot them.
  20. You can probably find a really solid deal on a used gpu and cpu on marketplace in your area. DEFINITELY dont cheap out on your PSU, it may cost you if you do. PERSONALLY i have never been a fan of AMD cards, but at least in my region (US) you can find used 3080TIs and even 3090s for around the $500 mark, dont exactly know how that translates to pounds though.
  21. So after over a decade of watching LTT make literally hundreds of videos about custom loop watercooling, when I finally upgrade my system to am5 i plan to ditch the 120mm aio that i have had since first gen ryzen (got it with a 1600x, now have a 3600x). I have a 2080ti with an EK Vector waterblock that came with it when i bought it second hand this past february. I have the Lian LI O11 Dynamic Razer edition, so ill probably end up getting the EK/Lian Li distro plate but i am honestly at a loss of what to get for everything else. I used to work at a PC repair shop so i dealt with watercooling fairly regularly so i am familiar with both hardline and soft tubing, though I honestly feel more comfortable with hardline. This amazon list is what I have so far, though I am not dead set on these items, just figured if i am going to have icue anyways for my keyboard, thats one less RGB software that I have to run. I believe everything I have selected is G1/4 though i am not certain. I will probably do a soft tubing run to and from my gpu as it is showing its age and will probably be upgraded within the next year or 2 and i dont want to waste the hardline tubing if i may end up changing the runs. ANY and ALL recommendations and tips will be taken into consideration.
  22. 2015 MacBook Pro shutting off around 60% with no warning then shows a dead battery alert on the screen when trying to power it back on. Ive had this for 2 years and the battery seems to have been replaced just before i got it. System report shows 125 cycles. It also charges REALLY slow. Do I just need a new battery? I feel like that cant be it with so few cycle counts.
  23. Since mid day yesterday I have been having networking issues with my iPhone 13 Pro. It only does it on this one network, all others are fine, and this is the only device that has issues. I have restarted my phone, i have restarted my router, and i am still having the issue. For sanity i ran a speed test on my laptop (2015 macbook pro 13") and everything tested okayish, better than the phone, lets say that. I have attached a screenshot of the speedtest from both my phone and laptop in the exact same spot, though i can be anywhere and the speeds remain roughly the same. Also no other devices, including other iphone 13 pros are having this issue. The oddity here is that when i run a speedtest from my gaming pc over wifi i get roughly 600 down and 600 up, so maybe its just outdated hardware/antennas on the laptop, but that seems odd as well. and yes, i have fiber. I am currently on iOS 16.5 (20F65) (I believe this is a beta build, my phone has been harassing me to update to 16.6 Public Beta 3 for awhile now, and i just havent done it.
  24. Budget (including currency): $800 USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Call of duty, warzone, minecraft, fortnite, roblox, rocket league, etc. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): No real idea what platform I want to go with for this build for him, hes 12 and has been begging me to help him get better fps in his games. he currently has an hp pavilion 570-p014 with an amd a10-9700 using the onboard r7 radeon igpu with 8gb of total system memory installed. Trying to figure out if it wuold be better to upgrade memory, psu, and add a gpu to that, or just start fresh. any build suggestions are appreciated. I have not built since pre covid so idek whats good anymore.
