I actually measured it. It's roughly 6.5 inches (165mm) from the motherboard to side of the case where the side panel would slide in. So that opens up some options

If a pair of headphones has a mic on it/in it it's not a headphone its a headset. Just to make this clear.
I would recommend the AKG K612/k702 vs audio technica AD900x/1000x and then add a mic to them if you need one.

yeah i'll do it during senior with some friends. take most likely 2 cars, one per day, and just beat the shit out of those cars in an offroad park, then if it doesn't work, we'll just tow it back home. i expect it to be fun. but at the same time, i feel bad for the cars being beat up.
 
i most likely will part out one and sell the other one whole, it just depends on how they come out after a day or two of beating.  and what i can't sell i'll scrap. but i just don't want the dmv just nagging me because of one car. i already would have one car of my own to deal with.

I'm not sure what's good when it comes to pads as I'm completely new to headphone stuff.

This guy does pretty good reviews, his review of the ATH-AD500Xs made me order them almost immediately (patiently waiting for them to arrive). These videos could be worth a watch.

I have a 200r which I figured would be similar, I mostly picked it because of the price. I've done ATX and M-ITX builds so mATX should be fine

I loved her Ranger to death, but it just got out performed by the S10. Still was a great truck, just not as good as the S10 in our use case
 
I grew up in a Chevy family but I'm not huge on American cars, I tend to go for Japanese cars more. For me American cars lost most of their interest once the 80's came around, but Japanese cars were interesting to me from the 70's to the early 2000s

The Rangers are nice, tough little trucks, and so are the older S10s. I can appreciate all, well most, trucks.
