  1. The R9 380x is a absolute power house for the price. And you're looking at pretty much max out 1080p or light 1440p gaming. On most games. What cpu do you have? https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/STRIX-R9380X-OC4G-GAMING/
  2. Sounds like the bearing on the fan is stuffed. Or the edge of the blade is nicking something inside.
  3. Any programs you are going to use quite regularly put on the ssd.
  4. Nah it's fun being spider-man under the desk.
  5. If you're going to be hosting a server you're going to want that wired via ethernet. And maybe thinking about twin lines. For what ever reason the first line goes down.
  6. No, Since your parts are going to be around 80 degrees c under load. And it doesn't get that hot anywhere on earth your system will be fine.
  7. Some 390's have their warranty voided if you open them up. I know the MSI one does.
  8. If you have the money I would go with the ek loop. They are rather quiet. But if your not doing some serious OC'ing or live in a rather hot part of the world I would just stay with the air cooler.
  9. Try deleting all the video drivers you have. That should force all the settings to reset.
  10. The 8350 having 8 cores on the AM3+ socket. But the 8350 is twice the price of the Athalon X$
  11. The Athalon X4 should be a good partner to the R9 380x --> http://www.amd.com/en-us/products/processors/desktop/athlon-cpu
  12. For any pcb work you want solder with a low melting point ( Higher lead concentration ). You don't want much heat being transferred to the pcb and damaging traces and pathways.
  13. Wouldn't even bother with the 8350. I would have gone down the Haswell refresh line up of cpu's for a budget pc i.e the G3258 and 750ti or better depending on your budget.
  14. Yes, You can just plug then in and use however you like.
  15. Minimal. Corsair Dominator Platinum CMD64GX4M4B3466C16 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4 http://www.corsair.com/en-us/dominator-platinum-series-64gb-4-x-16gb-ddr4-dram-3466mhz-c16-memory-kit-cmd64gx4m4b3466c16
  16. I've had problems with retail keys not activating after installing a new storage device. But not with oem keys.
  17. Cable mod probably hasn't release cables for your psu yet. I'm not 100% sure though.
  18. Depending how long you're at your computer a day should be your budget. I personally had a really bad chair and ended up having to get my back adjusted every 2 weeks until I tied it back to the chair. I can highly recommend the Vertagear line of chairs superb quality and comfort. http://www.vertagear.com/
  19. I just have pre done ones from cable mods. Oh and remember you have to get cables compatible with your psu just in case you didn't already know. The cable mod ones are very high quality and look fantastic!
  20. The i5 is plenty powerful enough to game, render and edit video files.
  21. So i'm finally almost done with my new computer but still haven't decided on a monitor yet. I'm interested in a ultra wide monitor but heard there not the best for gaming. I mostly play story driven games with a fair amount of BF4 and a few other shooters. I would like to hear about your experiences with ultra wide's and what you would recommend. Oh and i'm running a R9 390x so a free sync enabled monitor would be desired. Budget of $800 AUD or $550 USD Thanks
