    You may have had the first pc ever not posting because the cpu fan is dead.

    The fan has nothing to do with a the cpu besides keeping it cool. And if his other cpu works on the same board then it's clearly a dead cpu and not a cable error.

    The 380 is out of the 960's league. And the 380 is targeted at 1440p. I had 2 380x's in crossfire in my last rig I had an exceptional gaming experience off it.

    Every computer has a bios. Some are harder to access but it's there. Spam F8 on start-up and access the settings tap there should be a factory reset option.

    If your cpu isn't going to bottle neck the gpu upgrade the gpu first.

    The 380x is a excellent gpu for the money but to save a bit and sacrifice a little performance get the 380.

    Thank you I brought a really nice head torch it comes with a battery pack but can take triple A's as a back up.

    I previous rig had 2 380x's in crossfire great performance. And very affordable compared to getting a 980 or 390x.
