  4. How'd you acquire those and what for? Pretty neat, aren't those like the cpus in linus's dual xeon for cheap build? Luckily my 2660 turbos to 3.1 underload or single theaded stuff, so its not too bad.
  5. Currently running an e5-2660 in my build. Old sandy bridge 8core 16 thread server cpu. Runs great! only 2.2ghz is painful but man it runs cool and has plenty of processing power for my rendering projects. 100$ buy from a company parting out their old servers. So! Anyone here with a rare/interesting cpu? We're talking engineering samples, processors that stood out in their age, value, performance or even underperformance! A little bit of history would be cool to see here, so tell me about your oddball cpu!
