Hi guys I want to use my 27" 4k monitor as a TV (for use with Netflix) and I find it inconvenient to have to stand up to change volume/power so I'd like to add an IR receiver somewhere on the monitor in order to change the volume of the monitor or speakers. Any help?

For $24 you can get a CX450 and for $42 you can get a CX650, both of which would be better options.

longest was a year with my ex. Single life for a long time, it's way better!

and i think you can tweak borderlands 2 to play split screen. and left4dead2 i think.

Gang beasts and nidhogg are 2 games that i've seen.

Can't wait to see others suggestions. Local multiplayer certainly ain't PC strong point. 
 
I nominate SpeedRunners. It's a free running / parkour race with weapons... Like Mario kart / WipeOut. It's in early access but it's sooooo fun. I'm at 30 hours in. If the bus has wifi, you 2 + 2 others can be A LOT of fun. 

You sure that laptop is gonna last for 7 hours. Id be lucky to even get 2 since laptop gaming drains battery like nobody's business. Edit:nevermind saw the edit.
Portal 2 is a fun game, has split screen.

Gun monkeys? It's on steam. And has local MP.

Yet another reason to use an adblocker.

I built my friend an intel/nvidia computer last year, and told him about physx and how it worked/looked etc. and now he thinks that my computer is utter shit because I don't have nvidia. Ugh
