Plug all your accessories into the dock and plug the mac into that. Plug in the power adapter that came with your Mac into your MacBook. This will charge your MacBook. The dock will power your accessories, the power adapter will charge your Mac directly. 

I spent exactly 1 hour reporting videos on accounts by the same hackers that hit Linus Tech Tips... there are lots of them... 
 
 

 
I'd suggest everyone go hit as many of these hackers as possible with as many reports as possible. Make this slime suffer. 

@LinusTech You should do a review of THIS monster. Apparently it burns wood and converts the thermal energy into power you can use to charge USB devices. I don't know if its a gimmicky product that puts out like .5 amps or what but it SEEMS like a cool idea! It also seems like the kinda thing you would have fun reviewing.

And it will double as a hot spot.

Plus little survival stoves are very cheap, and all this is really a can with a thermoelectric generator on it. Not worth the over $100 they want for it and over $200 with the rest of the accessories.

Unfortunalely, I have met some people that couldn't start a fire even with a lighter.

The Fans spinning at 100% during boot is normal, some Mobos do this to get rid of dust, that might have appeared there during off-time.
Did you check the Boot order? That could be the shut of : Maybe the Bios is waiting for the CD Drive or something.
Is there any other setting, that could prevent it from booting? Maybe the Bios tries to boot with bad settings and boots with default after 5 secs.

It depends on what your trying to use it for. So... What are you trying to use it for?

I've personally always used Asus Cards. Never had an issue with them

Has the best I/O layout, and the highest stock speed.
Don't get the reference card.

Yeah it would... IF he had a high frequencies CPU. GTX Cards tend to out-preform AMD cards when the CPU frequency is lower do to the architecture

Well he doesn't have the cpu yet and hopefully he will listen to us and go with an i5 insted.

I would only buy a server off ebay if I was trying to get parts to repair another server for someone or if it was for someones personal music solution to listen to music over NAS.
 
Anything else I would build my own.

I was planning on doing this earlier this summer, and found one for $80. Eventually went against it. Was planning to buy it just for the sake of gaining more experience in the practical field of servers and server maintenance as well as handling server OS's and possibly setting up a file-storage-server.
