Oh. But from what I've heard, at 120hz its actually better for videos that are around 24fps. Is it true?

As stated. Was watching a bunch of shows and anime on my friends tv and found out that the tv actually interpolate the entire show to make it a smooth 60fps experience. Was wondering if a standard pc monitor actually does the same thing as I'm thinking of buying a 144hz display. My question is this, Will any pc monitor in the market interpolate shows and anime without the use of software and will 144hz smooth out the sub 30fps of shows and anime? Thanks!
