    Picked up this deepcool LD360 to replace my 3 year old gammaxx L360. tore whole system apart as it was overdue a clean. cooler was nice and easy to install, but i have to wait until a female to female 5v rgb adapter arrives to get my other 10 fans lit up. Managed to clean up wiring alot in the front of the case so wires are more hidden, will be finilasing cable management tomorrow when adapter turns up. now i just need to find a decent gen 4 nvme to finish setup.....

    Picked up this KOORUI monitor (left) to replace an aging and badly scratched acer monitor. so far i can say its so much nicer to have both monitors running at 1440p 144hz and both being non curved panels. Managed to snag this for £150 (£30 a month for 5 months) getting a monitor arm for it tomorrow as its very very close to falling off my desk due to the position been on a bit of a tech buying spree recently, as replaced joycons on my switch for new ones. got myself a Xiaomi redmi note 12 pro as a daily driver, and a set of anker soundcore Q30's, then also came in ownership of an honor X6a and also a samsung galaxy A15. Alot of shiny new tech to play with not enough time in the day for it all XD (sorry for the mess on my desk but i work on too many projects and have things everywhere lol)

    My latest purchase, grabbed this for £80 from amazon to replace the kinda really craptastic EVGA X20. so far out the box im happy, instant setup with need for software, im loving the free spinning mousewheel it makes me giggle.......

    I bought 13 Thermalright TL-C12C-S argb fans to replace the deepcool RF120's i had that were 12v rgb. my old cable management was awful i hid a monstrosity behind the 5000D's 2 panels which struggled to stay closed. I know its not the best job by any means at all, but for me im proud that i was able to semi manage the torrent of cables that comes with 13 fans. at least from the viewable side it is ALOT cleaner than my old setup. My only issue with rgb currently is how closed off it can be. i use different brands of software (thundermaster for my gpu, dragon center for motherboard, and ngenuity for keyboard and mousemat oh and evga unleashed for mouse) when ive tried to use any open source software my keyboard and mousemat go into seizure mode while my pc case stays uniformed colours but unresponsive to any commands to change style/colour. am i such a total noob that im missing something or is it really that bad that 1 program cant control an umbrella of devices without the need for bloat?

    sorry for the amount of pictures but ive done a TINY bit of shopping recently............ the plushies and picture were all bought from pokemoncenter, the eevee bag was from amazon (bought for a friends brithday present along with 2 plushies) I got the t-shirts from zavvi along with the wand company friendship and quicks balls (pokeballs usuall sell for £100 each, i got them for £48 each) i bought the evga x20 to replace an aging hyperx pulsfire surge, but i am going to be returning it as i am having click issues, and also the batterylife is worse than awful, from 100% to 0 in less then 5 hours of light use, looking at swapping it out to a g502 hero if i can find a deal for it. also recently picked up Astro A40 TR X editions, and also got the mod kit for it and man am i impressed! best set ive had so far!

    I decided to get myself some upgrades, motherboard was a great experience as ordered it wednesday got it next day with no issues. ordered Ryzen 7 5700X and 32gb of kingston fury beast rgb 3200 from amazon at the same time. i wake up my motherboard is already delivered. check amazon to see where parts are, out for delivery. im in all day no knocks or anything. attempted delivery, nothing. i get in touch with a rep, they say redelivery same day... didnt happen. so friday rolls around FINALLY get delivery but very suspicious of package as it feels very heavy for a cpu with no cooler and some ram. get into my place sit down open box only to find 2 air fresheners in the box....... After 2 hours and being cut off several times by amazon reps, i got refunded by giftcard. i ordered the 5700X and got faster ram (3600) for £10 cheaper and it arrived today. Had to re-install windows as it was being an absolute donkey and not letting me sign in. But im up and running again, and now i have a gen 4 nvme to get in the near future to finish my setup.

    Hey guys, what it is im looking for a decently priced and also reliable headset. i have used hyperx for the longest time originally using cloud 2 wired, then i upgraded to the cloud 2 wireless when they came out near 2 years ago. but sadly now i have run into some major issues regarding the hyperx headset quality. my original set started disconnecting and losing audio for a few seconds, i got in touch with hyperx and give them their dues they sent out a new set to me under RMA, but i got the new set through and 2 weeks laster the left earcup loses all audio. so i send emails over and again hyperx replace the defective set without too many questions, i received brand new replacement today but immediately i am struck with issues of audio working one moment then not the next, and to get it to work again i have to switch audio sources just for it to work again for a few mins. I am wondering if people have any suggestions of a decent headset (wireless) that doesnt cost more than £150? I would have liked to stick with hyperx but sadly since their sale to HP the quality has taken a serious nosedive and i refuse to keep spending money with them. thanks alot!!

    got sick of paying for cheap chairs only for them to break after 12 months. paid £390 for this and its built like a tank and is far comfier than any chair ive had before. Plus it being the DOOM edition makes it sweeter as it matches my setup of being black and red. hardest part about this was getting the box up 2 flights of narrow stairs by myself with a screwed up back...... took me 25 mins and alot of swearing and bruises later. the chair itself took me 15 mins to put together myself.

    Got this Huion Y1060P to start going from doodles on paper with pencil to digital. its taking me a little to get used to as i will have to buy myself a stand to have it at an angle. Hopefully when i get a bit better i can use my creations for my emotes on twitch but i think thats a while off yet lol

    grabbed me some antec cable extensions as the 2 8 pin cables with the psu i recently bought were really short and pulling on my new 3070 so saw these at 1am on amazon, had them dropped to me at 10am today lol i must apologise for my cable management in the case as dealing with so many fans i kinda gave up as too many wires lol apart from some extra storage i think finally after almost 3 years of small upgrades here and there, then last month finally splurging on a new psu/gpu im finally done with my rig until it either breaks or becomes too old to use (hopefully quite a while away yet)

    finally got the chance to upgrade my somewhat poorly rtx 2060. grabbed the 3070 for £580 and got the psu for £81. Now my system is what i would call finished for quite a while, dont have to put up with insane coil whine and fan rattle which i had with my 2060 plus now i have more horsepower for streaming withiout having to drop much in graphical settings.

    Picked up a new AOC G27G2U 27" monitor to replace my tired old 40" sony bravia tv i used for 5+ years as a monitor. also picked up a set of creative pebble+ 2.1 speakers as used tv as audio source. my cable management is terrible right now as its not permanent as i will be moving very soon. so far im loving the buttery smoothness in gaming compared to my 75hz panel for £230 i dont think it was a bad investment! Also this time i didnt get a deep gouge in the screen when plugging cables in (unlike my other acer monitor) so i can give a sigh of relief lol

    I find that with GPU die's they only need a pea sized amount of paste as they are usually smaller then CPU IHS's, MX-4 paste spreads pretty well as its the same paste i use for my APU and GPU respectively. I hope this helps

    My rtx 2060 decided to take a trip to the great GPU graveyard, so a small group of close friends banded together and got me the ryzen 7 5700g to get me back up and running again. i installed it and windows 10 tried to lock me out of my system, but i got my way into it again and now im fully up and running again!

    Its a corsair 5000D airflow. if i took off the front fan filter i could put another 3 fans up front but i think 13 for me is enough lol

    It depends on when board was manufactured, as if it was before the APU was released then it wont and will need a BIOS update, i think most boards will need an update as the APU is pretty recent.

    My latest purchase is the Deppcool gammaxx L360 v2 AIO. it now takes me up to an insane 13 120mm fans in total, the airflow in this case is insane!!!

    yes it will, i run a 2060 with ryzen 7 2700, 16gb ram and a 600w psu so you shouldnt have any issues

    sadly not as i myself am stuck in the same position too, i need to upgrade but anything with any sort of gaming potential is either sold out or 3-4x its normal price right now. and it is set to stay this way for some time. the only suggestion i could give is to look on CEX website and see if something is there in budget you could order, other than that there isnt much else to do apart from try to not get scammed on places like ebay and similar sites.

    With a GT1030 you wont be able to play R6 seige as its not really a graphics card more of a display adapter with no real gaming potential. you'd be lucky to run minecraft at 720p and get 30fps depending on settings. the rest of the setup would be good if you had a better gpu, but with how the world is right now it will be hard to find anything in your budget even on the 2nd hand market.

    If it is the boss in the mountains it is boss 4 called moder, and with every map it is down to seed generation, i randomly found location in a stone building guarded by skeletons. sadly it is a case of keep looking to see if you find it, if not there has been a notice in patchnotes that will remedy it for you with boss locations not showing up.

    if it was a usb port on the motherboard there is a chance it could have damaged something, but boards now are built pretty well as to stop further damage. but if the pc is working and there are no obvious issues as in random crashing or sudden shutdowns then generally you should be ok. if you are concerned about cpu/gpu issues then run stress tests like AIDA64 and furmark to stress test system to check for instabilities. hope this helps

    if the pc is still working it would generally mean you shorted out the usb port, so highly likely the port you used is damaged and can no longer be used

    if you are using the stock cooler then those temps seems resonable, but if you want lower temps then buying a different cooler will make some difference. i run ryzen 7 2700 with a deepcool gammaxx GT and my cpu idles at 20-25c, i used to use the stock cooler and temp at idle was aroun 5c difference.

    what OS are you using? do any lights show when connecting an ethernet cable? also if you can do you have the latest chipset drivers? if you can let me know then can make a guess as to what is wrong.
