  1. They're small and cool! But just for reference can u tell me the other options u had? probably one of them has it better
  2. That's cool! Blue led would be cool, but if the one without blue led is cheaper I prefer that one. I currently have nothing to do so giving me all choices u have wouldn't kill me I guess lol
  3. Hm, black? white? anything that goes around that would do I guess
  4. Yep, I know, if it's inches it'll be around around 200000 mm anyway lol What I'm talking about is that the width is greater than the height. And that's the type I don't really like. I'm looking for a case where its height is greater than its width. Sorry for the confusion!
  5. I see, so it's all about the lanes placement. One last thing, which one should I put in the x16 (x4 mode)? Is it the GTX or the quadro? I'm guessing the GTX then since I don't game that much?
  6. Hm, this is the kind I'm avoiding anyway, see, it's 222 in width and 181 in height. But that's anyway! Yeah, I've came across several cases that are so slim I fell in love with, but sadly they only have low profile slots..
  7. Hm, is it a pre-built pc? If so, does they sell case only?
  8. Hi, does anyone know a compact matx case that I can put in a bag and bring anywhere? ... Not really. At least it can fit inside a cabin bag or something. ... Anyway, I'm looking for this compact mATX case which has its height > width. Yes, I don't really need a slim case like bitfenix pandora. Something like raijintek styx is fine, but I'd like to find something smaller than it if possible. And a case which has 400mm in its dimension is a big no unless there's a good reason for it. Oh, a window isn't necessary but I'd like to have one. Does anyone know a case like this? Sorry for being selfish with so many demands. Thanks in advance, cheers!
  9. Am I allowed to double post? according to this article by Pugetsystems they tested a Titan on gen3 x16, gen3 x8, gen2 x16, and gen2 x8. Looking at their result I don't think there will be too much different right? If it's just 2-3 or 5 or 10 fps I can live with that, I'm not that avid gamer anyway. So what do you think guys? Can I put my k2200 in the x16 and gtx960 in the x16 (x4 mode) and shrug it away?
  10. Is this still on? I'm an animation student and the softwares I'm using apparently require stronger computer, so I'm putting my 10-years old laptop to a rest, and build a whole new rig. An SSD would help me boot my PC faster and hopefully load softwares faster. Thanks and good luck to all participants, cheers! EDIT: woot I claim the 159th page's first
  11. Hi, thanks for the explanation! The quadro is single slot. I don't really understand, why should I get the h170 if it's double slot? And this is a foolish question, but is x4 really THAT bad? Oh actually the wLAN card is just a plan, I found out that USB wireless adapter is much cheaper so I'm going with that. I crossed the wLAN card on the OP.
  12. Hi! I took a look at Asus's z170 mATX here, but after further research I found that their PCie setups aren't different, or are they? I'm actually pressing down my budget as hard as I could, that's why I'm going with h170. How about this one, it's the same model as the h170 on OP but their PCIe setups are as following: 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16 mode, gray) 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (max at x4 mode) 2 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x1 Would this work?
  13. Thanks for the response! What "Speed" are you talking about? In my case, which card should be in the x4 socket? I'm not that avid gamer, so maybe I better put the gtx960 there? Or is it so few difference that it doesn't matter which card I put there?
