Its about the same as a 2070s, for less. (part of the reason the 20xx super line was released)

5700xt would be the best for gaming, but the 2070 would be best for folding @ home.

By going from a GTX 1070ti to a 2060 super you won't really notice much of a difference in performance. So the 2070 or the rx5700xt would be much better upgrades. At the same time if you're buying new I highly recommend trying to get a rtx 3070, 3060-3060ti or amd equivalent when they come out since any of those 3 cards are likely to either be cheaper or/and perform better than the rtx 2070 or the rx5700xt

Is that a pci-e slot? if yes, you can slot a gtx 1050ti there. if it is PCI it will not

I agree. But in my country they are really pricey for the performace they give.

If these numbers are acurratte, (and i'm starting to have doubts that this isn't some weird april fools), it's performing just behind, (in arithmetic, and just ahead in everything else), the i5-9500, and equivalent on arithmetic, (and again ahead on everything else), the I5-8400. If this thing has any OC'ing headroom, (and it really should as it's not even upto Zen+ frequency limits and we know TSMC's 7nm can push out more), it's probably going to demolish even the 9600k and 8700k.

If this is real, they allready have without upping core counts. Have fun at that thought.

Yeah, or wait for 10nm Ice Lake CPUs but they're due 2019 I believe, same with Ryzen 2. It's Ryzen+ (current Ryzen refresh with hopefully higher clock speeds) that is going to be out near the end of Q1 2018 according to AMD

The 100Mhz in base clock difference should look something like this: https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/GTX_970_SC_ACX_Cooler/12.html

This card is about 100Mhz higher than the base GTX 970. As you can see, the difference isn't really noticeable.

Have your already ordered it? If not, I would go out in buy a RX 480/1060 instead as these are more powerful and better value. Nothing wrong with 970, just not as powerful.

First of all, you should have backed this up! Second, these kinds of software are really special tools and you often need an expert just to find stuff. Most importantly don't use this hard drive for anything, don't store anything on it! The only software I know of that is free is Recuva from piriform (here), and it's not 100% you will be able to actually find them, if the documents are really important, take them to an expert and have them recovered

I have only used TestDisk for Linux and it worked quite well. It should also be available for Windows. Still in the Windows side of things, I've heard Recuva is quite good.

A rebadge is taking an old product and giving it a new name to make it seem like a new product when it isn't. A refresh on the other hand is basically a revision; based on the same package but with hardware improvements of some kind (so, just changing the stock frequency doesn't count as a refresh).
