  1. Good call, I'll take a look and will update if I change my mind! Thanks!
  2. On the side of playing games, I also (somewhat) regularly record/make videos with Sony Vegas and use a couple VM's for application development. But mostly because I need to fill up each dim slot (Because I don't like the look of them being empty) and 4gb sticks seemed weak (If you know what I mean, it doesn't really matter, but yeah....). I was looking at different ram though, so I might change it to something else.
  3. Believe it or not, this is already a downgrade from the PSU I currently have in my SLI 780 build, have an 1500W PSU in that guy haha. It's not all that more expensive then the lower wattage models and the fanless operation and aftermarket cable support is great.
  4. This is my second build log on this forum, the first being a bit more than 3 years ago, but nevertheless, it's time for something new. *Picture from Lian-Li Website Here's the part list and the status for each: Case: Lian-Li PC-08S (Acquired) CPU: Intel I7-6900k (Unreleased) GPU: Nvidia 1080GTX (x2) (Unreleased) MotherBoard: Asus ROG Strix x99 (Not Acquired) RAM: 64Gb Corsair Dominator Platinum 2800 (Not Acquired) PSU: Corsair AXi1200 1200W (Not Acquired) Storage: (1x) 1Tb Western Digital Caviar Black HD (Acquired) (2x) 256Gb Samsung 850 pro (Raid 0) (Acquired) (1x) 500Gb Samsung EVO (Acquired) Radiators: Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper X-Flow 360mm (Acquired) Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper X-Flow 240mm (Acquired) Pump/Reservoir: XSPC D5 Photon 170 Reservoir/ D5 Pump Combo (Acquired) CPU Block: EK Supremacy Evo x99 (Not Acquired) GPU Block: TBD Tubing: TBD Fittings: TBD It will take awhile to finish the build, since I have to at least wait until the last couple parts release, but I figured some people might be interested in watching the progress. I'll post pictures when I got home from work later today of the things I've already ordered and received. Thanks!
  5. The game is rated Teen. If you don't want your young daughter to grow up alongside those characters maybe you should have her play games rated for her age....
  6. This petition has so many spelling mistakes in it that I wouldn't sign it simply to avoid associating my name with it, ha.
  7. The comunity managers on the forum just confirmed the following: ''You're going to like this: Latest official update: we will offer the option to play with either 60 frames per second or 30 frames per second on PC at launch. -UbiVal'' OP should update main post so poeple don't have to go to fourth page to find out.
  8. Dispicable. I was gonna buy and have fun with my friends, but not anymore. I don't care if I can change it 60FPS in the xml. Even the OP in the thread said that trying to change it to anything higher than 60 (Such as 120 for 120Hz monitor that I happen to want to use) simply doesen't work.
  9. Bought my 4770K the day it was released, guess I never signed up though... If anyone has a code they can't use, I would happily take it
  10. Sreen looks great on the phone and everything seems fairly snappy. Thanks for Dbrand for sponsoring Linus and the giveaway!
  11. I wonder if ''Sales'' count free to play games or subscription games? Because League and Dota2, (However much you like them) are possibly the two biggest games at the moment and are free to play, thus don't really count as sales. However, it is not to say they don't make any money, it's quite the contrary actually. And that's not counting the other hundreds of of free to play games, and subscription games such as WoW, that might not really sell a whole lot of games anymore, but the amount of players and revenue generated cannot be ignored.
  12. I want to punch some of/if not all of those people. Especially the ones making fun of the proposal and calling them fat, so disrespectful. I wish it was televised in Canada and more instead of only in the states, I tried to tune in into it, but apparently Rogers Cable here in Canada doesen't carry any ESPN with the exception of ESPN Classic. Even though there was probably alot of positive ones not posted on this, I wish that more then the americans could have watched it and gave their opinions.
  13. I had a very similar problem on one of my old PC's. Ended up being a bad stick of RAM for me. You said you haven't run memtest, so I would run it. Although you have 32gb of ram, and I know when I tested 32gb of ram it took forever 48hours+ to find an error. So maybe just trying 1 stick at a time would be less time consuming.
  14. That's normal for some GPU's. I forget if it's Asus or MSI that does it (Or someone else), but the fans spin backwards at boot up to prevent dust build up in the heatsink under the fan. As far as I know, it shouldn't slow boot times (I could be wrong though, I have never owned such a card).
