    They should, specially considering it's the same manufacturer. Hard is tho looking towards in the future and trying to keep one "standard," if a CPU changes size.

    6 to 8 pin adapter? That doesn't sound like a good thing for your PSU.....
    6 pin connectors are rated for 75 watts, while 8 pin connectors are rated for 150 watts. It should be fine since PCIE also supplies 75 watts, but you never know. You could try drastically reducing the power target as much as you can.
