  3. So I'm looking to buy an ssd and I've been eyeballing this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147373&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction-Storage&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-Storage-_-Solid%20State%20Disk-_-SAMSUNG-_-20147371&cm_sp=&AID=11892366&PID=6361382&SID=hawk-148826883 Is this a good one to get? Are there any better ones?
  4. So here's another question, I play quite a lot of Fallout 4, and I usually get around 40-60 fps. How much do you guys think that extra 8gb of ram will help that frame rate?
  5. Ok, so I'm looking to upgrade the pc I built recently and I know the things I want, but I don't know the order I want to buy them in. I'm looking to get 8 more gigs of ram, (I currently only have 8 gigs) I'm looking to buy the corsair k70 cherrymx red, (which is an upgrade from my old garbage membrane keyboard) I'm looking to buy a 500gb ssd to replace my hard drive as the boot drive, and last but not least, I have a gigabyte r9 290 windforce graphics card, and my motherboard can support dual gpu so I thought another r9 290 down the line will be pretty good. What do you guys think the order of purchase should be for these items?
  6. When we go to uninstall it again it doesn't show up though
  7. we used control panel and uninstalled it there first thing first, but he can still open it from the desktop
  8. @Ryan_Vickers when we select install it tells him to close steam but steam isn't open anywhere so I have no clue what's happening
  9. @Ryan_Vickers We've started deleting all the files, and if you could tel me how to get it so it doesn't do this would be very appreciated.
  10. @Ryan_Vickers @verydogesuchwow So my friend is going through the process of uninstalling and reinstalling steam right now. The name of the install path is C:/users/admin/desktop/steam/ Is this good?
  11. When my friend installed steam on his laptop all this showed up. I assume it's because he set the desktop as the install folder, but I decided to ask you guys before telling him to uninstall Steam.
