  1. I always thought that the founders edition GPU was the only card that contained the reference PCB... I guess I never heard any different.
  2. How long did you wait before deciding that the system doesn't work? Sometimes it takes time for the machine to kick back on with new hardware. Also, have you tried reverting the changes that you've made? That's were i would start, just to isolate were the problem may or may not be.
  3. Otherwise i wouldn't even bother overclocking, then you can get the non-k version, and you wouldn't need to but a CPU cooler. That would save you quite a bit of money right there.
  4. Yes, you can put a GPU in there, BUT that PC has a lower power supply, and i feel like that will be a problem if you are looking to put a GPU in there. I have a similar computer; all i did was buy a GTX 750 and put that in there. It works well for MOST games at 1080p. Its becoming an older card now though... The nice thing about a GTX 750, is that it requires a power supply with a minimum of 300W (which is what you have)
  5. whether of not it will bottleneck will depend on what you are using the computer for... are you gaming at 1080p, or at 4k? stuff like that. This seems like a great machine for gaming at 1080p. PCpartpicker should tell you on your list if the parts are compatible or not. That's why its so amazing!
  6. I don't agree with Linus, but i also don't think that it is a pile of junk. I personally think that Razor is the "Apple" of PC. They create decent products, and in my opinion are high quality, but just are not my choice of laptop because of the price. As a customer, i want the best price/performance that i can buy. It just isn't there for the money that you are paying for the Razor Blade. But on the other hand, if you want something that looks aesthetically pleasing, and will perform well AND are willing to pay a little extra money, then go for it. Props to you. Its a nice laptop.
  7. You'll have to prioritize your list! that is just too specific and a little unreasonable....
  8. You should not be having those problems with your GPU! Everything that you currently have should be sufficient for your needs already. I wouldnt upgrade anything yet. Especially for gaming at 1080p. Have you tried to trouble shoot the issues with your GPU?
  9. Dude im pretty sure that your results are correct. the 965m is a good! but it's not that good...
  10. Does your PC make any sounds? Does you motherboard give you a beep code upon startup?
