  1. Daaamn, chill y'all, I get it, you want me to replace the powersupply completely
  2. I was thinking about something like a EVGA 430, its EVGA, it shouldnt burn my house down, right?
  3. yes, I dont think the horse power in your laptop is not nearly enough to game on a 4k screen with pleasurable framerate and medium/high settings, I think the loss in frames is not worth the extra pixels

  5. You could probably power 3 screens by using a screen port splitter
  6. Well, as far as I can see a 4k monitor really would not be a good idea for you, seeing that your laptop is in no way capable of powering the 4k screen (not to be rude) let alone over 60 hz... If I were you I would invest that money into your new desktop, and buy a 2k monitor instead
  7. Hmm, interesting, from what I have heard the rx 480 is the best pick here, I don't have any hands on experience though
  8. Hey there fellow pc builders, I was looking to buy myself a new pc, but in the Netherlands this is all very expensive, so I decided not to build one from the ground of. I decided to buy a desktop with a solid i5 processor and a 730 graphics card, looking to replace that graphics card with an rx 480, which my dad could bring from one of his business trips to America for a reasonable price. But, after recieving the pc, it turned out the 730 graphics card didn't have a 6-pin connector on it, it ran solely powered by the motherboard. This is an issue, seeing that I can now now longer swap it out for an rx 480, because I don't have a 6- pin connector to power it. Then a really crazy idea popped into my head, what if I were to buy a cheap 30-ish euro powersupply just to give the rx 480 its power. Do you guys this would work, or have any tips on how to do it otherwise? That would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Your RAM is overkill, and I allready have a ssd lying around, and why the super expensive power supply?
  10. The thing is that this isn't fair, the pre built one has all the pheripherals, and all of your builds don't. I also meant 600$
  11. Would you recommend buying this for 770$ or building my own 600$ http://www.marktplaats.nl/a/computers-en-software/desktop-pc-s/m1022162438-game-pc-i5-3570k-cpu-3-40ghz-2x-radeon-saphire-hd-7950-3gb.html?c=9b26ed2a557deff636f4f8b9c5b7a618 my own http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cKMmnQ with an AOC i2367
  12. Two years ago, I bought a SSD for my laptop. I am not happy with my laptop anymore, and want to build a new PC. I figured I could still use the SSD, but realised it was too small. Do I need a new SSD or is there some kind of adapter?
