  1. Hi All, I have a 2016 Razer Blade with a 512GB NVMe drive in it. I am almost out of space, and want to have a 2nd drive for my steam library. I've come up with 2 options: 1. External SSD (Samsung T5 1TB) 2. New internal NVMe (Samsung 970 EVO 1 TB) Option 1 is cheaper, but I prefer option 2 because read/write speeds on the ESSD are 540/520, while the NVMe is 3500/2500, for not much more money. Keeping the drive internal is also a nice plus, and I feel like I'm getting ripped off by buying the external one when that internal NVMe is so close in price. The problem is, I have found no way to clone an NVMe drive, as external enclosures for NVMe drives don't seem to exist. Any ideas on how to clone my old Internal drive onto the new one, with only one slot in this razer blade? Unless of course the general consensus is that the much slower speeds on the external SSD will work for game installs, what do you guys think? I have very little experience with judging read/write speeds and their applications. Thanks
  2. This projector looks amazingly cool. I'm currently balancing portability and utility with my gaming laptop, wireless mouse, wired mice, controllers, and all that. This looks like an amazing addition to the 'portable gaming rig' I'm currently carrying from dorm to home.
  3. Sorry, didn't really know where else to post, I'm new here. Aye, of course t doest. Wilt thee meeteth me in mine bedroom?
  4. No man, it has ANTI-shock protection. So, it's built to be weak against shocks.
  5. Hey All, I just wanted to point out something. On the recent follow up video to the low end GPU rant, I was intrigued by the advertisement for the SSD with SATA and USB 3.1 on it. So, I went down to the description, and clicked on the link, and hey, manufacturer website. But wow! The entire product description was filled with grammar mistakes, formatting errors, and the like. See below for copied and pasted, uncorrected excerpt: (from: http://ap.apacer.com/products/Solid-State-Drive-Panther-AS720) "The high speed AS720 allows editing directly off it without time wasting file copying. Itdeliversthe smoothestand more convenient high-speed transmission experience. Windows-To-Go function, compact size, anti-collision and anti-shockprotection, all leadsmobile storage solutions forward to the new field for high efficiency and ultimate speed. The moment you use AS720, you know you have never felt anything like it. " And I immediately closed the tab and continued to watch YouTube. For me, nothing puts me off more than a company who can't even put spaces in between their words and proofread their public product page. How about you guys? Will this influence your potential purchase?
  6. SSD's are great for pretty much every PC. Once you have your bare minimums, an SSD will give you those fast boot times and launch speeds that make you the envy of all around! SSD's are also much more durable than a standard HDD, and with no moving parts, they're quieter as well (although those of you who care about hard drive noise must have good ears)
