    thanks this is my first pc upgrade/build and need it to be relatively cheap ill check out the 7970 or 7870 or maybe even the 750 ti and 8gb of ram i know is a must.

    i would go with the macbook because of the reasons stated by sissj also sense its for your mother apple os are very easy to understand

    i thought about that i do indeed have the core 2 duo but i am going to upgrade that soon as well but for know im looking for a cheap graphics card
