Well, if it's legit then they'd be well within their rights to protect their content. If I had to guess I'd say probably something from Floatplane that's not scheduled for release elsewhere yet. And if the guy is just lying to get attention, then congrats you gave it, but it's not exactly the kind of thing he should be proud of. So... Meh.

That is how DMCA notices are supposed to work - if the site has copyrighted content, they are served a notice to remove the content. It's not a punishment for the site, just a notice that they are required to remove the file to comply with the law.

I'm hoping there is more to it because if you need a point and click GUI to build an OS that you want to pass off as your own (when another OS developer is doing the heavy lifting) then it's a failed project from the start.

Well, using RetroPi, it'd actually run basically ANY retro console.  The front DE9 ports have been drilled out and I'll be installing two female USB ports there for gameports.  It'll take any USB gamepad really, even 360 gamepads, or NES clones.

    Hi!

I just happened to have this discussion open in a tab. On this forum, you need to quote a user if you want them to reply to you. If you don't they don't get a notification that you asked something. To quote, click the arrow button below a comment.

Change the first line back to
Public Class Form1 Here you're declaring a Class, not the program. Form1 is fine for that.
Then change the third line to
WebBrowser1.Navigate(TextBox1.Text) This is important! This only works if you didn't change the name values for the WebBrowser and TextBox from their defaults. If you did, you need to replace WebBrowser1 and TextBox1 with what you got there.
So finally, here's my suggestion for your complete code
Public Class Form1 Private Sub Go_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click WebBrowser1.Navigate(TextBox1.Text) End Sub End Class

Nothing in that list should get your computer stuck at boot. If it doesn't start in normal mode then try safe boot. You can also try repairing it.

Joshuabishop4 reacted to brwainer in Powerline Flaw
Exterior outlets have to have a GFI (sometimes known as GFCI) on either every outlet or at least somewhere in the circuit (somehow my house got wired so that one GFI in one bathroom protects the outlets in all three bathrooms plus the garage). GFIs and Powerline networking don't play well with one another. That being said, yes in theory someone could gain network access by connecting a powerline adaptor to the outside of the house. The AV2 standard introduced communications over the ground wire in addition to the hot and neutral, which has the by product of often allowing communications between the two phases of the house (this isn't directly related to being able to join the powerline network fromoutside but makes it easier).

Some people say they have seen crosstalk between seperate houses before, and there definitely are cases of crosstalk between different apartments/flats in the same building.

Many HomePlug AV adapters support encryption, and all HomePlug AV2 adapters do. The setup process requires you to put all the adaptors into setup mode at the same time so they can set up the security and only trust each other. I haven't heard of this encryption slowing down communications any more than normal, and sometimes when you buy a pair of adaptors they come pre-encrypted to each other.

Joshuabishop4 reacted to leadeater in Powerline Flaw
Some power line adapters allow you to enable encryption, at the cost of network speed. Getting access to a power point is much harder than wireless signal so physical security is usually in place unless you have exterior power points, these shouldn't work though since they are on a different fuse/RCD.

    HeyGuys

This is the second day in a row this happens. When I bot my PC the pump doesn't turn on. I gotta tap the pump a bit to got it working.
The pump is an EK-XRES 100 DDC 3.2 PWM Elite (incl. pump).

First 2 days after I installed it I had no problems, but now it's doing weird..

Side-question: In my BIOS it shows that the pump is turning at 4500RPM, is this ok or?

    thanks!
