Heh, FX 4170 with gtx 970 plays all games quite well, i7 920 is quite a bit better. I say- wait for broadwell-e and zen, in the meantime OC the 920.

Meh, my FX-4170 is on this pentium's level... And I play with a 970, maybe some fps drops from time to time, but nothing serious. G4500 is ok. I3-6300 is better

So you have 1st gen i3 and 1st gen i5, they are both on 1156, you can check on your other hardware(change CPUs and if the i5 works in the other mobo, then you could buy a new one, if the i3 works in the i5's mobo then new CPU, here i7 for 1156 are like 30€)

PC IS CHEAPER. In my country nobody buys the shitty windows, we have Zamunda with bananas, we download a Banana windows and turn off updates(ofcourse nobody chooses the shitty 10 or 8/8.1) You can use any case, monitor doesn't have to be included in price and peripherals are cheap as dirt There is no reason to get a shitty console other than exclusives.
