  1. Thanks for the reply! I was looking at the WD Black and WD blue already. SK Hynix SSDs sadly arent available here.
  2. I am going to expand my ssd storage. I know PCIe gen 4 SSDs are a thing, but I am not sure if my laptop supports the increased speeds from it. NVMe gen 1.4 also was released about the same time. I do a lot of video editing (up to 4k) and a lot of game development (indie sized/VR). Now I have some questions about it: 1. Will I notice the higher random read/writes of PCIe 4.0 drives if my motherboard only has PCIe 3.0? 2. Will I have any benefit from NVMe Gen 1.4?
  3. I know the current one is gen 3, but that doesnt mean the laptop doesnt support gen 4
  4. I got an Asus TUF A15 2021 with Ryzen 5800H and RTX 3060. I know the 3060 runs with PCIe Gen 4, but I wonder if I can use a PCIe 4.0 SSD in the system. How can I check this=
  5. Yeah. Didn't find the at2050 worth the extra money however
  6. Also been using my meteor mic for years and will continue using it as a backup since it's transportable
  7. Thanks for the suggestion. My current condensor mic doesn't suffer from any reflections. Also if I would audio treat my room, what would you suggest then?
  8. I also got offered the Studio Projects C1 mk2 for €150. Maybe that is a good idea
  9. I am looking for a new microphone for YouTube. I mostly make voiceovers for guides (channel is Tech Dunk). I currently use the Samson Meteor Mic. I want to switch to XLR. The most important part right now is the microphone and not the interface. My room isn't audio treated and has some background noise. I'm just totally lost on what to buy, because there are so many products out there and all sound a little different. My current choice would be the Audio Technica AT2035 (or maybe Rode Procaster?). If you have any recommendations let me know!
  10. Fix for the sms: disable battery saving on the sms app and sms services! https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S8-Questions-and-Answers/Delayed-text-messages-s8-plus-HELP/td-p/161494 Time still not working!
  11. I just bought a used S8+ and set it to factory settings. Installed all apps and it looked to be working fine. Now I have 2 issues which I can't troubleshoot myself sk any help would be appreciated! 1. The time in the notification bar freezes and updates in irregular intervals (sometimes it freezes for mroe than an hour). If i turn on or off automatic time it refreshes. The time in the widgets and on my lock screen are correct! 2. There is a HUGE delay in receiving SMS messages! It takes up to 30 minutes to receive an sms, which isn't that great when you want to verify your number in some apps.... If you can help with any of these problems, I'd really appreciate it!
  12. Currently I'm mining some currencies with my gaming PC and I've heard that VRM overheating could be a big issue.I don't think that my CPU is pulling so much power to be afraid, but I think someone else could answer me better (:My Ryzen 5 1600 is in a open air case, with a case fan above it (not directly at all, but close to the VRM) and I have a tower cooler.I have my 1600 on an OC of 3,8 GHz on 1,23V. My motherboard is the Asus B350 Prime Plus, which has a 4 case for the cpu, which does have a small heatsink on it.Is it troublesome to run this CPU with 11 cores at 100% (other for keeping stability) or should it be fine?Of it would matter I'm mining CAME steak with my CPU and nicehash with my GPU
