There are no "fastest" 2060 because they are all 2060 with the same specs

I wouldn't think so, sounds like a hardware issue

my guess would be a bad chip, get in touch with Intel or your motherboard manufacturer

Burnedice25 reacted to LinusTech in INTEL SECRET 32 CORE LGA3647 ON EBAY? NOT JUST 28C?!
Sold. Let's find out what the heck this is.

Burnedice25 reacted to LinusTech in Are mx browns really that bad?
I still run my first gen K70 RGB (MX Brown) at home and my G710+ at work.
Keyswitches for me are not really about performance at this point. With some exceptions (Reds... yuck) I can type 120-140 WPM regardless of switch type. It's about comfort, and I really like Browns. Some people might not.
I've never said "go buy Browns". I've only said "I prefer Browns" and that's for good reason. Keyboards are all about personal preference.

Burnedice25 reacted to BiG StroOnZ in Application has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware.
Seems like it might be virus/malware/rootkit related (as it sounds similar to an issue I had a while back).
Try running the following programs:
Malwarebytes
SUPERAntiSpyware
ADWCleaner
JunkRemovalTool
TDSSKiller
RogueKiller

Your processor is weak and you're only running single channel memory
Just to make sure, is your video cable running out of your motherboard or GPU?

Burnedice25 got a reaction from mr cheese in Will it fit on a HP 3500 Pro Motherboard?
This PC is triggering my OCD.... I don’t even have OCD! But yes, HP Pro Motherboards usually fit most aftermarket coolers. (Please clean up your case, just a little at least?)

Cool build, only thing I would do differently is get the GAMING X edition of MSI GPU. But otherwise a fantastic build, especially for a first timer

I seem to remember hearing that pretty much all 775 boards can overclock. I used a OEM board and overclocked fine

CPUID HWmonitor. its made by the same people who made CPU-Z. But with my current guess of MoBo problems, I'm guessing the thermal sensors might've broken as well.

Burnedice25 reacted to johnukguy in Is my GPU damaged due to overheating?
Have you checked the actual GPU temps at idle and under load and is your GPU overclocked? If it is overclocked, try taking the overclock down a notch or two if temps are too high. This being said though, even a hot GPU shouldn't be heating up your whole case that much, so it may well be that your system as a whole is running too hot. Try and get screen shots of the temps for your GPU and CPU, under load and at idle, and we can probably tell you if there is indeed a temperature issue. Also, have you installed any new drivers lately and do you have the latest AMD chipset drivers (which came out a couple of weeks ago) installed?

Burnedice25 reacted to lowaltitude in Running Crysis On A $10.70 AUD Budget
Today, while in a local second hand tech shop, I was given a challenge by my friend, that challenge is to build a rig capable of running crysis on a budget of $10.70 AUD.
So I set off to find some parts.
There will be pics when i get some
Part List (updated regularly to incorporate new parts found)
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2xRNM8
I was given a few rules, by my friend:
1. Obviously it must run crysis (or at least the benchmark)
2. Parts found lying by the side of the road are acceptable
3. Parts cannot be directly donated to me for the purposes of the build
DAY 1:
I managed to purchase an Intel Pentium D 820 for $0.50 and scored a thermaltake case on the side of the road
CASH Remaining: $10.20

1. what are you planning to do with this PC
2. i think you should take some of the budget away from the cpu and put it in the GPU, try to go for the 1060

Burnedice25 got a reaction from Herman Mcpootis in What do you think of my PC?
If your gaming a Xeon won't be any good, try to get a i5, I suggest maybe a i5 2400 ( it's really cheap but not that good but it will get the job done)
