Burnedice25 got a reaction from Fasauceome in After adding RAM my CPU overclock no longer works
OCGenie, especially on older chips, isnt exactly stable or reliable... Try dialling in an OC yourself, more fun and you should be able to do a better job than what OC genie could do anyway...
If you really wanna cover all your bases, do a memory test, theres a couple found online.
also, do this:
https://www.userbenchmark.com/
download, run, and share the link of the results so we can have more information to help you. It tells us your exact specs and some basic diagnostic info

Burnedice25 got a reaction from bezza... in Got a 240mm AIO on my Corsair 5000x which has a 360mm slot, how do I make it look less ugly.
If you're into that sorta thing, you could buy some figurines of your favourite characters and have them chillin in your rig
like, if you liked Indiana Jones, you could get him swinging from a vine hung from that space too. Lego looks great too!

Burnedice25 got a reaction from Mnky313 in I've lost everything :((
Ok...
Stop, dont touch it anymore
Make a list of everything you've done so far
Find the nearest data recovery service near you.
Get the pros to handle it, dont risk your data trying to do it yourself.
good luck

Burnedice25 got a reaction from adarw in GTX 1650 upgrade for a Lenovo M92p
This guy seems like this PC is his only option RN, I would very much hate to even think of someone doing something so risky just to end up with less that what he started with

Burnedice25 got a reaction from Fasauceome in GTX 1650 upgrade for a Lenovo M92p
No, this guy is a beginner and even I (relativley experienced in PC modding) wouldnt even attempt to do that, ESPECIALLY on a prebuild system with limited info

Burnedice25 got a reaction from BuckGup in should i buy a server for fun?
I meant for the price, still a fuckton of RAM for just a silly playing around server
Hell, I've been looking at 16-32 GB for a minecraft server.

Burnedice25 got a reaction from Fasauceome in Upgrading A School PC / Final Post?
It most certainly isnt I'm afraid.
Try and come up with another build factoring in a cpu? (use PC part picker, it makes life very easy)

Burnedice25 got a reaction from Algebruh in Which companies make the best (trustworthy) psus
If they were TERRIBLE, then people would stop buying them, there fore would not stick around......
I've used many and not had a single problem.
It is by far the most popular line of PSUs today for a reason.... they are cheap and they work and they are reliable

Burnedice25 got a reaction from shoutingsteve in Overclocking questions
If its stable after 20 minutes in Kombuster, its good.
but as a general rule of thumb, if you feel uneasy with it, dial it back. An extra 2/3 FPS arent worth a dead GPU.

Burnedice25 got a reaction from Rdogg9900 in Re-purposing old PC for daughter
yay! something i can answer well.
That GPU looks to be the main bottle neck for everything, what games will she be running? If it's just the games you mentioned then it will be absolutely perfect.
as for video editing software, as a film maker myself i use HitFilm Express, completely free and a good ease in to more professional software. i suggest using that $300 to buy a new monitor and have a dual setup with the Tv acting as a secondary to the new monitor
