OCGenie, especially on older chips, isnt exactly stable or reliable... Try dialling in an OC yourself, more fun and you should be able to do a better job than what OC genie could do anyway...

If you really wanna cover all your bases, do a memory test, theres a couple found online.

    also, do this:
    https://www.userbenchmark.com/
download, run, and share the link of the results so we can have more information to help you. It tells us your exact specs and some basic diagnostic info

If you're into that sorta thing, you could buy some figurines of your favourite characters and have them chillin in your rig

like, if you liked Indiana Jones, you could get him swinging from a vine hung from that space too. Lego looks great too!

    Ok...

    Stop, dont touch it anymore

Make a list of everything you've done so far

Find the nearest data recovery service near you.

Get the pros to handle it, dont risk your data trying to do it yourself.

    good luck

I meant for the price, still a fuckton of RAM for just a silly playing around server

Try and come up with another build factoring in a cpu? (use PC part picker, it makes life very easy)

If they were TERRIBLE, then people would stop buying them, there fore would not stick around......

I've used many and not had a single problem.
It is by far the most popular line of PSUs today for a reason.... they are cheap and they work and they are reliable

My mates got the 9400f he's willing to let go for quite cheap, also i much prefer the single thread performance as i will be buying second hand and not the latest gen cpus.

If its stable after 20 minutes in Kombuster, its good.

but as a general rule of thumb, if you feel uneasy with it, dial it back. An extra 2/3 FPS arent worth a dead GPU.

That GPU looks to be the main bottle neck for everything, what games will she be running? If it's just the games you mentioned then it will be absolutely perfect.

as for video editing software, as a film maker myself i use HitFilm Express, completely free and a good ease in to more professional software. i suggest using that $300 to buy a new monitor and have a dual setup with the Tv acting as a secondary to the new monitor
