  1. ok so it has been a few days I am still troubleshooting this.... the boot button is definitely not shorted and it still boots into dfu mode. Is this a driver issue or something?
  2. So I have just put my Quad together and It seems like I am having issues with flashing the clracing f4s. when I flash it it lets me connect to at first with slow blinks on the indicator lights, then when power cycled it goes straight into Dfu mode. thoughts?
  3. Also, I am curious about the board selection for beta flight there are two options: the CL_RACINGF4 or CLRACINGF4. Neither of them has an s in the name so this is a bit confusing PS: Sorry about the double posting I am not sure how to delete my first post

  5. But even if its only 10 percent faster at least if he waits there will be a price drop.
  6. Now that my parts are mostly finalized, any thoughts on the flight controller board + the pdb and escs? That I am not so sure on
  7. So I almost have my build finalized (you can see the forum thread with all of my part choices here) But what I am curious/wondering about is what do you think of this flight controller first of all, and these Escs I am open for suggestions on replacements to both of them but there is one caviot. It has to be on Amazon with prime shipping or fast shipping because I have to have this thing working in 10 days (I am planning to bring it on a vacation to the smokey mountains) So my options are quite limited So I am not sure what to pick....
  8. @Daysy Thank you for being such a help on this adventure! It seems as if when I was putting these parts together I was having a bit of an identity crisis with this drone... So I have changed A TON of my parts. I have a new flight controller (wondering if that is a decent choice as far as features are concerned) I have a fpv camera transmitter combo, I am not sure if I should buy a better receiver separately and just buy the camera for 5 bucks cheaper or not. I am also wondering what the power situation is there. I have decided to go with your batteries because... Those a huge and expensive anyways and would probably ground my drone... I am also wondering what your input is on the new 4 in 1 speed controller I have found. It seems to be highly reviewed. Does the PDB board look like a good choice? Also, there is a bunch of random stuff that You should probably look over again. thanks for the help!
  9. Well, that's good to know and all... But What do you think of the parts selection? I geared this post more to Making sure all of my electronics work together
  10. I am trying to put together my first drone and have put together some parts on Amazon. If there is anyone out there that can help me figure out what parts to buy for this drone that would be AWESOME! What I am Trying to build: I am trying to build a DIY drone that is multipurpose. I am planning to dip my fingers into fpv but at the same time want it to be very customizable. I have a frame picked out that I am going to 3d print. I think this frame is best because of its portability and I can probably figure out a way to put in a camera so it is a win-win in my book. But here are the parts that I picked out: Motors Power Distribution board & flight controller Speed Controller Radio Fpv goggles Battery charger frame props Fpv camera Vtx receiver (I have a Tevo taranchula that I am going to print it out on in PETG) Any Feedback on my part selection would be AWESOME because I am not an expert at this just yet.... or even Amateur. Ps: I thought that the Mavic form factor might be a fun thing to do but the frame does not have nearly enough room to fit everything so I am going for a 5-inch frame. I have also updated a lot of components in the list (seems like most everything.)
  11. I have a evga txt 960 ssc. I want to do vr but I want a better experience so I want a rx 480.
  12. I just finished building my 1000 dollar PC with a 2 terabyte hardrive from Toshiba ( i know weird choice) and my 120 gig boot ssd from sandisk. I would like to put my demanding steam games on this ssd so they run better. I think anyone who is building a PC over 500 dollars should put a ssd in their rig because it makes the rig a whole lot more Snappy opening programs making the PC feel faster
