  1. I have been thinking as when we use host's internet on Virtual machines. Can we use/passthrough internet from a os installed on vmware or virtual box to host like a hackintosh if my card is not supported by it.
  2. Today I saw that I have a old Lenovo B40-70 laptop lying around. It has an i3-4005u processor with 8 gigs of ram.I wanted to know if it is safe to run a hackintosh on this. I have installed hackintosh on this machine previously and it worked fine (Yosemite) and smooth (other than wifi as card was not supported but that is not the issue here. I have El Capitan right now. I can install it on the machine easily but the question is WILL IT HAVE A BAD IMPACT ON PC PROCESSOR AND MOBO.

  4. If you have a budget of $120 then I think this will be best http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAA443RS3003 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211985 These both SSD's sre great and have seen on Tech tips mentioned alot.
  5. With the above guide you can also go a little easy with hard drive (get a 2 TB instead) and SSD for boot (get 250GB) for the time and add more later. This PC is ultimate and also future proof for many years and can play almost every AAA title at 1080p.

For reducing budget you can go with another case also go with a great case $69 Extreme Value Phanteks Eclipse P400 which is a great case.

  6. This is Linus's pic for this range I guess. (Source holiday buyer's guide)

Hey, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately build posted above is way out of my price range. I was looking for something that would cost me 800-900 cad including tax.

  8. I am a huge Linus Tech Tips fan and have been learning from it alot for years now. I have watched many videos of him (including cat, marriage, etc) and following Linus, Austin for years now. In all new build linus talks on putting an SSD. I have a pc which I built watching him 2 years ago and wanted to upgrade to an SSD. SSD's here are very expensive online and difficult to get at local buy. So I would love to get my hands on thsi SSD.
