How much UPS is too much?

I get the feeling 162lbs(73.5kg) of UPS is too much UPS. :D

I'll take one if you're giving it away! :3

Good lord, that weighs more than most forum users!

    Not enough redundancy imo

@Lurick Two of those are dedicated to powering one server (and a homebuilt 2U Disk Enclosure).

    Mini-redundant PSU's FTW!

If you've got the money, why the hell not?

For any of the people curious (even though it says it on the front) these are the CyberPower OR1500LCDRT2U

I paid $336 (before tax). For what they do I think they're a good deal.

Not Pure Sine-Wave but not Square Wave either (in the middle, Simulated Sine-Wave)

    900W output.

Room for SNMP expansion card (if you're into that).

    RS232 compatible.

    Tune-able sensitivity.

    Quite sizable battery.

Whole bunch of other bells & whistles.

F***ing heavy though. Unless you're built don't plan on lifting these over your head.

@Windows7ge Are there any models that do 1200W or higher, in that same form factor?

And for almost double the price of 900w option, it looks like I'm skipping this for a while :3
