Just once, instead of talking about networking and servers I think I'll make a status update sharing something I found funny, or rather something I did that I found funny. Only this one time though. Then it's back to posting about stuff the minority of the forum is interested in.

So at college I'm taking a Phycology course and in the class as part of studying we use a website called quizlet.live. For the uninitiated the prof gives you a room number. You go to the website. Put in the number, then your name. The site puts you in groups and from there you answer questions and whatever group answers all of them correct first wins and for us we get extra grade points.

So as I discovered yesterday. When you put in your name, it doesn't compare it to any dictionary. In fact it doesn't even check if what you put in is alphanumeric. Whatever you give it it uses. So on the overhead projector (so students know who their group members are) the groups looked like this (names do not accurately reflect the names of my classmates)

1.
Tim
Jerry
Craig
Tiffiny

2.
Mark
Steve
Karen
Jenn

3.
Julie
Sara
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Jake

4.
Zack
Meg
Hannah
Rachel

So quite frankly when I hit enter I didn't expect it to work, but now that I know that it does I'm very tempted to abuse it until he complains. I kind of hope others start doing it too.
