    Yeah, just watched the pcmag video, and 1w to cool 5w doesn't even come close to what an typical current cooling solution for laptops, as these fans typically use 1w, but can dissipate much more heat. As the tech seems very interesting more development to make it more efficient will be needed to make this a viable cooling solution.

    I just found this, and this is epic. Just got a chromecast with google tv, and now I can just browse Floatplane on my TV. Nice. Would be nice if Luke got in contact with the dev, maybe invite him to the WAN show (or hire him )

    Just renewed my FP subscription just for this Will be a late one for me as I'm in Europe...

    Check if fans and pump of the kraken are running. Then check if the cooler is still seated properly on the CPU. Don't worry, the 7700k clocks itself down before anything bad happens to it. You can run it without cooler and be fine (although slow ).

    I only have a SSD in my laptop, and I wish I had gotten it earlier. A SSD is the single most awesome upgrade to any PC, no other upgrade will make such a difference to your PC than the upgrade to a SSD.
