  1. Well, my keyboard is missing keys, my mouse needs a clean and my mouse pad is pretty small.
  2. GTX 760 It's free? Is that a good reason to want one?
  3. Besides the fact that no one else in my house can do anything on their own beside Facebook, the first years at university as me if they have to type out "[enter]" from the instructions.
  4. Greetings everyone I'm looking to get some opinions and reassurances from people who have bought products through Amazon.com who had their products shipped internationally to them. I live in South Africa, and while I've bought online from local stores such as takealot.com, I've never bought from Amazon or internationally before. Some of the concerns I have include: - Extra shipping costs - Safety and risk of shipping (damage, theft) - Import tax In case it's relevant, this is what I plan to purchase: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HVLUR86/ref=nav_timeline_asin?ie=UTF8&psc=1 All experiences welcome Regards Brent
  5. Life is busy and I have places to be, no time for emotional partners. Choice
  6. Being a post grad student, I've had many friends that have changed course after the first year. There is always jobs available in the computer science and ICT fields if you are willing to move to the bigger cities like Johannesburg or Cape Town (once you're done studying). It may be a little to late to change now since it's already february but one very interesting possible career path is computer forensics, which will utilize a background in law quite well.
  7. Thanks, will take this into consideration once I start comparing PSUs.
  8. Nice forum, hopefully it will aid me in building my new rig.
  9. When I was.. younger.. for some reason I wanted to be called "Icy" It's short, it's catchy and sounds chilled. The "tech" part, well i'm not even sure myself.
  10. Little sister found my PC back in June 2015 so I've been using laptop since then. However in the next two months i'll be building a brand new machine from scratch (including monitors and peripherals), and of course a SSD is non-negotiable. Also everything is expensive in South Africa..
