  1. he just has to put the positive wire to positive and negative to negative and of course dissolder the usb port apart from the mainboard connection to the DC in connection, should be a very basic simple process, but if you don't know laptops / wiring / electronics nevermind.
  2. Did you delid a 6700K yourself and overclocked it? I did it and it gave me 55°C with 4,8GHz @ 1,45V from 70°C.. And no, the TIM is still crap like it used to be. CPUs were used to be soldered - that's the point of delidding - putting Liquid Metal on.
  3. If you don't know what GPU Boost is about, stop trying to disable it. Lol, it's like modding a TV without knowing what to do. There are dozens of points which have a certain clock and a certain voltage. The lower the voltage, the lower the possible clock. Just mod the Boost states in the MSI Afterburner Beta. Press CTRL+F and there you go.
  4. Dumbest thing I've ever heard. The different values are going to be driven with a higher or lower value. If you set all the same your gonna have a crashy time.
  5. I already lost the other giveaways ;(
  6. I'd love to win this set. Why? I have a good setup, but my mouse is slowly dying and my keyboard is too. My current setup are: Corsair K65 RGB Cherry RED Logitech MX518 Sharkoon Fireglider Mousepad which stinks like death. Hope I can soon change my mousepad because I think I have to throw mine away. Paid like 30€ for it and it just stinks like chemistry. I already put it outside for like 10 days and washed it with hands but the smell doesn't go away..
  7. Who doesn't want a good phone? I already got a lot of china phones of different brands like Xiaomi, Gionee, Doogee and Cubot aswell as ZTE. I bought myself a ZTE Nubia Z9 with 64GB of Storage and 4GB of RAM. The design was very cool and the features were stunning but I had to sell it for its annoying stutter. This time I am hoping that ZTE optimized their phones more and made them user friendly. I'd love to have this phone in my hands and do an extensive test with it.
  8. I want to sell my god damn 980 Ti from evga, because it gets like 83°C and hotter. This card is heating my CPU up from 32°C (without GPU) to 42°C (with GPU).
  9. There is a way to flash your GPU BIOS of the 4GB version to make it 8GB. (If the other 4GB aren't removed from the PCB.)
  10. Did you tried turning it off and on again? Could solve the problem. Do a CMOS Reset (google it to get further information) Turn off your PC. Power off the PSU. Take out the cable. Locate the battery. It's the silver round battery. Take it out for 3 minutes. Put it in again. Be happy. settings like OC and so on for your CPU and RAM will be lost. (All changes which are made in BIOS)
  11. watch LinusTechTips videos and figure it out. Those are basic skills in building a PC..
  12. If you want to spend money on a new GPU, either take the 980Ti which sometimes is able for the price of under 400€ or take the 1070 which is more power efficient and costs about 500€. (At least where I live - Germany) The 980Ti is about the performance of a 1080 FE so it would be a good deal, if you could get it at least 100€ less than the 1070. You decide.
  13. Probably a display cable that's not in the right position. That's why you never open a laptop. I did this so many times and always this damn display cable just didn't fit properly again.
  14. No. 1070's spike up to 300W when overclocked. Your CPU does spike too when being overclocked. Get a 850W and be safe. Keep in mind what a low power PSU can cause to your components. Just saying
