  1. Yu Its not the corrupted BIOS its the PCI slot of my motherboard that created the garbled image. I connected the Gpu to another machine, ended up working fine. Now i need to change the Motherboard. No problem my friend has a H61M-S a mini itx board with all the features of mine and he doesn't need the PCIe slot. Better have a exchange with his one. Nothing to blame i inserted the GPU and removed the GPU more than 100 times. Today.
  2. Can I Flash the BIOS of some other GTX960 2GB will it work
  3. it does support it. I picked this one up for 100USD but the fanless mode was not working even in idle
  4. Dude I was trying to get Fanless mode on my GPU but the BIOS Update failed. I thought it turned into a Paperweight but after continues Tries it finally Worked but with Garbled Display output. Now i am tring to fix it. I know flashing BIOS is risky and I won't do it unless I have something to Gain from it
  5. This is the Proper BIOS but some how it is corrupted. I tried flashing it again but no use
  6. I bricked my GTX960 and after so many attempts of flashing BIOS I finally able to make the GPU work. But the Display output is garbled even at the BIOS screen. From some googling I figured out it was caused due to Flashing a Corrupted BIOS and not related to Drivers or Operating system. That is why even the BIOS screen is even Garbled the only place where the Video output is good is when some information is shown just before the BIOS screen. The BIOS I used is a Galax 2 GB which is the GPU I am Using. Could Flashing BIOS with another GTX960 2GB card Fix the problem ?
  7. thanks at least the card is working now, i was trying several versions of NVFlash but none of them worked. This time it worked successfully. But the signal from the gpu is not good
  8. Temps were not bad will not hit 80C at Max Usage and 45-50C Idle
  9. Yes it showed some Error code at the end. Still the card remained working until the restart. As you can see from the Image below a screw have bent the metal around it, suggesting that the previous used have opened the card
  10. I bought this one Used ($100) and the fans are very louder than expected, Louder than the Intel stock cooler and the Corsair Fans in the Case and Fanless mode was not working at all. I tried so many things but its stays at 30% Fan speed or 990RPM all the time even if I used a Custom Fan curve.
  11. The same BIOS I was tying to stop the fans running at Idle and Saved a Backup of the Original BIOS and changed the values according to Linus's Video
  12. I bricked my GTX960 I'm trying to Flash the Stock BIOS to it. But the Process requires 2 GPUs. I am using the Secondry GPU as my IGPU(HD4000). So I connected the GTX960 to the PCIe and Connected the Monitor to the IGPU's VGA port after selecting initial Display as IGFX the PC starts up fine. But it only displays output until the Windows Logo. So that even if i get to BIOS it does not output signal. So I Tried removing GTX960 Then I can see the BIOS but for the Flashing Processes I need the GTX960 to be connected to PC. HELP ME. Motherboard : GIGABYTE H61M-S1 BIOS Version :F4 CPU : i5 3570K iGPU : HD4000 GPU : Galax GTX960 2GB
  13. I was trying to tweak the BIOS of my GTX960 to stop all the Fans at idle using the Linus's video as a Guide. Everything went fine until the part where he used CMD to inject the Modified BIOS. It started spitting some error. But I figured it out by a Form in Tom's Hardware that I need to use the 64Bit version of a software. I downloaded the 64Bit version, Disabled the card and Continued. I pressed y to continue. Then an error code showed up. But everything is still working I Enabled GTX960 and according to Linus's Video Restarts the computer but After it went off it came on but no Display Signal and the Buzzer in the CPU started Beeping Rapidly. And the Fans Starts and Stops again and again.
  14. GTX1050 ? get a 1050Ti The extra 2 Gigs of VRAM helps you a lot
