  1. So cool that you can get such a large image from so close to the wall, GIVE ME!
  2. Wish I could lay an ethernet cable but it's simple not an option, looks like I'll have to make do with WIFI
  3. Just tried that and the bridge connection is a little faster than powerline alone but much slow than WIFI alone.
  4. Using 500Mbps tp-link, tried all sorts of combinations of sockets around the house but the wiring in the room where my PC is must just be shit.
  5. Hello, I currently have around 38MB/s connection speed to my LAN NAS over WIFI and 4MB/s over Powerline. I was wondering if there's some way to combine the 38MB/s of the WIFI and 4MB/s of the Powerline so I have around 42MB/s connection to my NAS, which will allow me to stream uncompressed 4k video?
  6. It would seem that 2GB of VRAM isn't enough for VR as the GTX 690 is more powerful than the GTX 970 but has half the VRAM... well 1.5GB less haha. Just sold my original GTX Titans in preparation for pascal so I couldn't test them but I'd assume that they would perform fine with 6GB of VRAM and about equivalent performance to the GTX 970 so in SLI they would have definitely been fine.
  7. Got a Fiio E09K amp that's beginning to drive those headphones!
  8. Go for the 4790k, it's better thermal dissipation means what ever cooling you go for will be more effective meaning the fans wont have to spin as fast leading to a quitter PC and better overclocking potential.
  9. Well all motherboards over $100 are going to overclock just as well as each other unless you're planning on using liquid nitrogen and all z97 micro-ITX motherboards are going to support 2-way SLI/Crossfire so it's all going to come down to the looks and features. if you can stretch your budget, my personal favourite micro ATX motherboard is the Maximus VII Gene as It looks great and Asus's ROG line seems to offer the most features for gaming these days best of which is the great built in audio and all the software Asus has developed. This will be an even bigger plus for 2-way sli/crossfire on micro ITX board as you wont have a free slot for a sound card and an external USB amp/dac will take up more desk space. Also, you can plug all your fans into the motherboard then let AI suite tune all the fans and overclock your CPU for you and keep the system quite. However, if that's to expensive or you just don't like the look of it the MSI Z97M GAMING is the next best thing, still has decent built in audio and has most of the same features, although there isn't as much software developed by MSI.
  10. Go with a GTX970 and then get a 1080p G-sync monitor and you'll have the best gaming experience you can have at 1080p. You can run everything ultra 4xMSAA and not have to worry to much about it dipping just below 60fps.
  11. Linus I'm broke! And I blame you for brainwashing me into buying all this crap with your persuasive videos.... I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY!
