  1. Interesting idea, because afaik in China TPM's are banned?
  2. So you think every single industry should upgrade their hardware and security to W11 asap?
  3. And while people make excuses for it the issue will only get worse. At this point it will be ugly when people finally snap.
  4. Those Win10 machines are still online, still vulnerable even more so once the updates stop, still being used in critical areas.
  5. Honestly at this point I'm awaiting public toilets that charge per gram of deposit.
  6. I suspect Intel. I mean they have been loosing relevance in recent years. And they did sponsor the reveal it seems with the push on 11th Gen Intel being mentioned.
  7. What motherboards for Ryzen onwards are Win11 happy?

  8. Yup, I can't help but think Intel is paying for this to be a thing, and the AMD drop of 1x series is simply to avoid legal implications should they get called out on it. But I will hold final judgement to their blog, they need to explain this DAMN well before I decide I need to save and drop several hundred quid on a new mobo/cpu/ram for my gf's perfectly good Skylake system post 2025!.
  9. They are deep mouth to Intel right now. It's funny how many generations Intel are cutting off compared to AMD, and then guess who was promoted during the 11 presentation.
  10. Back to the fun of modded iso images on dodgy websites, and testing them in VM's before actually using them. Oh joys.
  11. Thanks to Windows 11 we have scalped TPM 2.0 modules

  12. So if I got a TPM 2.0 module for my GF's H170 Pro Gaming motherboard would it still refuse to install Windows 11 due to the CPU? is that still a soft limit or now a hard limit?
  13. When you can just DL it this easily it makes you wonder why it's forced. Just make it optional, because I am sure their are vastly superior options on the market for those interested in encryption. https://github.com/e-ago/bitcracker
  14. https://portswigger.net/daily-swig/bitcracker-password-cracking-software-designed-to-break-windows-nbsp-bitlocker TPM is fucking pointless.
  15. Banned for having a zebra hair stuffed pizza next to a pineapple.
  16. Make it an option, make it one you have to read and agree to the risks you take not having a TPM 2.0 module installed, but gatekeeping the OS because of it is stupid. Repackers will make .iso images available that has this bypassed and many peeps will use it to fix ma/pa computers once Win10 is done in '25.
  17. I hope repackers get hold of the .iso images when 11 launches and create custom installers which bypass the bullshit of Microshaft.
  18. They can fuck right off so far beyond our universe science has yet to come up with a term for just how far they can fuck right off. TPM in Home should be optional!
  19. I call for a POLL on this forum, to see if the mods are right with only 1% at best are upset by the TPM requirement of Windows 11.

  20. Really 99% given the blowback across the internet it's bit more than 1% who are upset at the TPM requirement.
  21. Umm no? How about the large group of people including those in poorer countries with older Ivybridge CPU's perfectly capable of daily tasks being told post 2025 it's EOL hardware? I'm all for some of the older 775's being unsupported but the TPM requirement is too far, make it an option or repackers will, and I won't be the only one downloading them. Forcing TPM is stupid in a time where the market for such items is broken.
  22. Make it an option or their will be cracked .iso images on .torrent sites with it made a fucking option. And then their will be reduced security for all since they locked it down to begin with! Is it their fault no, but cause and effect is at play here or will be.
