  1. Is it possible to disable the Recent Bookmarked in Firefox 90.0.2? Googling around shows config edits in about:config but that seems to be a dead end on this current version, nor can I right click and disable. I feel I am missing something simple.

  3. Your colour bit is set low likely 256. Display settings should give a drop down for colour settings, turn that as high as possible.
  4. Anyone in the UK got any good sources for a cheap 3TB drive?

  5. Was thinking of giving this game a look, will be giving it a wider berth than a smelly portaloo at a festival. The investigations into this will be very interesting!

I need a DVI-I out on my PC for my multi-monito…

Yeah it's past it's time, I'm going to order another Dell Ultrasharp to replace it as my side screens. And it will be a nice upgrade for my buddy, works brilliantly with the system I just put together for him.

I need a DVI-I out on my PC for my multi-monito…

It's an old 2010 Samsung TN panel, was wondering if minus an adapter I could make it work through HDMi, but even with a DVI-D or whatever it is to HDMI it has problems with scaling and image quality, literally the only way this monitor displays a damn good picture is pure DVI connection. The monitor is one of these : https://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1265026060 or damn close to that. Decided I will gift it to a neighbour who is getting a system from me soon, and his current setup is a VGA only 720p thing, so be a nice upgrade, as the system I've put together for him outputs via DVI to this DVI screen perfectly.

DVI in general is even more dead than vga. DVI-I is even more dead than DVI-D because it’s analog.  By “no adaptor” I suspect you mean a cable.  Cables are generally one specific port to another specific port.  My memory is dviD will carry dviI but the reverse is at least not often true. If this is a turning a digital signal into an analog signal my suspicion is no.

Do you need DVI-I because you have a VGA monitor, or do you need it because you want to connect a DVI-I monitor?

If you want VGA: you're gonna need to get an adapter, DVI-D to VGA, HDMI to VGA to Displayport to VGA.

If you have a DVI-I monitor: a DVI-D cable will still work.

Makes me suspect it’s an analog monitor with a digital add-on interface. My memory is I was once told the last video card that even output actual analog was the 9xx stuff. Might be able to get a 580 to do it.  I don’t know.

  12. @GabenJrI want to see Windows 11 running on an Intel Atom.
  13. Give this a browse : https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/what-should-normal-safe-operating-temperature-be-for-a-m-2-nvme-drive.418369/ NVMe drives are ok to run warm, in fact afaik they have issues when run too cool.
  14. Found the drive had over 18,000 bad sectors in a 23second scan, called it quits after that. RMA ticket opened. Cheers all.
  15. Possibly, was thinking could it be formatted via Mac OSX and that's why WIndows can't see it?
  16. I've a pre-owned just delivered 120GB SSD (Palit) and it refuses to initialize, I've been using Diskpart.exe via CMD and the inbuilt WIn11 disk management tool. It shows up as offering to setup a MBR or GBT table, and lets me select what I wish, then does nothing when you click OK. I have cleaned the disk, tried another system running Windows 10, used CMD to try and setup either MBR or GBT partitions and the same result? what gives it clearly works? so why can't I bloody initialize it. In CMD I get told the following.
  17. I want to know what drugs you where using by the truck load to think this deal was legit.

    1. Lurick

Bitwarden, you can even setup your own server and whatnot locally so it doesn't touch their stuff at all.

  19. I say get sixteen of the largest Delta fans in existance. Then put 8 for intake, and 8 for exhaust and go full REEEEEEEEE cooling.
