Seems like you did all the testing you should have. The only other thing I can suggest is some weird memory training took effect for timings so I'd try a cmos reset to flush any bad values to let it retrain. I heard this can happen if you initially populate all 4 slots too. Out of curiosity what BIOS version? Honestly might be worth trying lower AGESA (< 1.2.0.5) as that can also have weird problems.
 
I have heard reports of boards having good and bad DIMM slots. Unlikely but possible.

I just got my Radeon VII yesterday, and I'm really enjoying it. It replaced my 1080 Mini, and so far it seems fine. The drivers were the major worry, but my experiences have been pretty good. If anything, it's response is faster for recovering from sleep, and during restarts than my 1080. I've had no compatibility issues with games so far, and it scores well on Passmark.

I was wondering if anyone had any other experiences with this card, and if yours differs from mine, how so and what should I look for?
 
I know there aren't many of these things out there, and I was lucky to get one, but I figured someone on the forums must have one.

Just watched this today. I watch this guy's videos a lot. He's got a good formula, but he's been struggling ever since the YouTube demonitization issue.
He's done a few "rant" videos, but the rest of his content is pretty solid. He's trying to change his formula to fit in with the YouTube policies, but it's affecting his content now.
I know you guys aren't there to "rescue" people, but I do feel for the guy. I've been watching him since 2011. Anyway, I mentioned it in the Floatplane suggestions/content thread, but his channels are MxR Mods and MxR Plays.
 
So, simple questions: Would this be appropriate content for Floatplane?
 

Basically he's trying to change his content to work within YouTube's program, and it's not working. No matter what he tries. He's frustrated, and you can see it plain as day on his face. They're only allowing monetization on his streaming videos, and he's not thrilled about the prospect of converting to a full streaming channel. Every video he uploads no matter how much content he scrubs in editing, gets demonitized as fast as a day or two. Even his IRL videos with Jeannie are being affected. It's sad really.
He tries to stay positive like in most of his videos, but you can read between the lines on this one.

I just got promoted today in the company I work for. To be precise, I actually got kind of double promoted. I passed a level or so. Corporate level now. Effective next week. Don't think this is an attempt to gain validation or anything. I really don't have anyone besides my wife to talk to. So I don't expect an answer or anything.
 
The new salary will allow me to fund a new build though. I'm thinking RGB-AMD Ryzen...

So, silly question as I would assume it's been discussed, but have any of the LTT/LMG people thought about replacing Vessel with their own controlled video distribution website? I'm sure you guys could pull it off. I mean if MotorTrend, HotRod and others can make it on www.motortrendondemand.com then why couldn't you, with some affiliates?
 
It seems like the best way to continue your premium fans' subscription services, and it also seems obvious for a tech site.

Considering the fact that LinusTechTips is the biggest channel on Vessel, and that many people (including me) subscribed to Vessel only for Linus' videos, they could probably pull off adding early access to the linustechtips.com website.

I'm guessing you're overclocked at that voltage. Try going back to stock speed and voltage and do some rendering. If your temps remain high, try taking the cooler off, cleaning up all the paste, reapplying and reseating. If your temps come back down to earth and are in line with typical 6700K stock load temps, you've probably just lost the silicon lottery and would need to either buy a more powerful cooler or dial down your OC.

A single 390x is going to give you the most consistent performance, as not everything plays nicely with SLi or Crossfire.

It looks like it's running at around 83c under load, though your utilization is at 94%. If this is your max temperature, it doesn't BSOD, and you're comfortable with it, then I'd say you're okay. 1.337v is a little bit high for Haswell chips, but not quite in the "danger zone." If you'd want to tweak it a bit, you could try dropping the voltage down to 1.3v~ or so. However as it stands, this is okay. Are you sure the H100i is worse? 

No better time than the time you have! Working with hardware on borrowed time adds unnecessary stress, and often leads to headaches over the simplest things. Such as "Oh, I forgot to plug in the CPU power." Don't be afraid to set the voltage on the G3258 to something like 1.2v, and shove the multiplier to 40! It's a easily-overclocked chip, and it can go a long way! (My suggestion is just a baseline to work from, of course.)
