AutonomousRedux got a reaction from LogicalDrm in Two MCM suggestions
Evenin'. Recently bought a few sets of medium and large MCM arches. Gonna be honest, I really like 'em. Although I do have two suggestions that I feel would improve the user experience.

    1. Backing plates should have something for the arches to snap to position. Maybe a magnet sized bump or divet? Every time I take an arch off the plate and put it back on, I need to adjust it to get it back in place.
    2. Put a screw hole on each end of the backplates, preferably closer to the edge. This:
Ensures that the plate doesn't rotate on installation or when in use Makes it easier to line up with other backplates and then level afterwards Other than that, found these to be pretty easy to use. Good product that I generally recommend.

Grazzi. Managed to pick up a #9723 for $90 used last night.

Really is much larger than I was expecting. ("Subwoofer" I tried for comparison)

Anyway, thanks for your and Omon's help. Really do appreciate it.

    Works well enough.
Just be aware that anything sensitive to vibration should be a little bit away from a subwoofer.

These things include: AVRs, computers and probably printers.

And yeah, monoprice has a reputation for "not bad, at lowish prices" Used tends to win though. If you don't need DEEP bass for movies (music seldom goes ultra low) then the monoprice units are likely fine. I'd need to do research for specific units. The default recommendations got messed up during covid.

The subwoofer you linked to looks like it's is rated down to 30Hz which is probably fine. Ported units are bigger and do more bass per $$$ spent.

    Here's a review which touches on the sub. It seems "not terrible" - https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=41289#:~:text=The Monolith™ THX®,frequency response from 30Hz ~ 20kHz.

Would something along the lines of this work just fine?

So, you were right. The clickies are waaaaay less mushy. They feel pretty damn great, if just a tad stiff. And loud. Other than that, I fucking love it. Thank you for the recommendation.

I'll look in to that. I may just ask for a swap to get a GL Clicky version and see if that suits my tastes. Best Buy is pretty good about swaps last I checked.

If you haven't setup Chrome or Firefox since reinstalling Windows, you can indeed copy/paste everything in those folders over to the same locations on the new PC. You may have to manually go inside the STRING.default folder, copying the contents out to whatever the new randomized STRING.default folder is on your new installation. Keep in mind this won't necessarily grab everything as certain items like cached content, HTML5 storage, and passwords are not usually transferable due to security reasons.

    Yes.
    About every six months.
    Go watch JayzTwoCents beginner's guide.
You're either going for an EK watercooling kit, an AIO like the Kraken or H110, or individual parts.
Primochill's Utopia mixed with distilled water. Dye with anything from the name brand manufacturers. Primochill, Mayhem, etc..
Paper towels under every component that has a fitting installed.
Getting rid of air in the system.

Always make an easy way for your system to drain by installing a t-fitting, two male to male fittings, and a valve at the lowest point in the loop.
