This is what I will, hopefully, be gaming on soon :) - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1Ad6c (the only difference would be the GPU - I am waiting for the 9950/9970).

  1. Thanks guys, well it seems like I will save a few bucks and go with the 990XA one because I will be going with only one GPU and the color scheme isn't a problem.
  2. Hi everyone! I am about to purchase a new PC in a few weeks but I am still not sure which motherboard to get. Here is the build - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1R09M . So my question is whether there is any difference between Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 and GA-990XA-UD3. I live in Bulgaria and the FXA is about 25$ more expensive. I want to know if there would be any noticeable difference and if the FXA is more OC friendly. Thanks in advance (Also what do you think about the build )
  3. And by stoof you mean playing BF4. I mean it is a totally good card for 60$, go for it I can run BF3 at 1080p low (30fps but still playable) with my 9600GT come on peoplez.
  4. @NoTreble I think your girlfriend would rather be late Idk you may still have a chance but someone should have got it by now.
  5. Get the 270x or 280x if you can bump up the budget and wait a bit.
  6. What is 780's 3dmark firestrike performance?
  7. You've written 450 euro but that's not how things work in Europe. The prices here are like the same number as $ (600$ = 600$). Unfortunately, it's not 450
  8. Personally, I like this post more I can see the things I want clearer.
  9. the 760 is supposed to be the nvidea concurrent but the 7950 is better when OCed
  10. Well, I assume people with that CPU will have a decent GPU (like anything above 7870) so I would like to have some 1080p benchmarks at some games (like Crysis 3, BF3, Far Cry 3, Saints Row 4, GTA 4, Counter-Strike GO, Dota 2, World of Warcraft... anything you can want as long as you have the time to make some benchmarking) and probably some rendering and benchmarks (let's say 1gb 1080p clip).
  11. So I am about to buy a new PC and most of the people recommend the 8350 or the 8320 and OC to 4.3 or sth like that but I have been wondering does anybody here have both CPUs and can give us some benchmarks? I know there are a lot of videos and websites where they post benchmarks (and I have seen most of them) but is here anybody who has both? Probably got 1 free or sth like that, idk. I know there are a lot of topics like this and I don't want it to become a fanboy war but if there is anybody who owns both, pls reply. Also I know "@Dravic" is gonna try to prove that the i5 is better he has done it in every topic like this but he may be right if anybody posts their benchmarks of both CPUs head to head in games and rendering for example. Have a nice day guys If you own the 8320/8350 or the 4670k you can just benchmarks some games - 1080p anything you like (preferably Crysis 3, BF3, Far Cry 3, Saints Row 4, GTA 4, Counter-Strike GO, Dota 2, World of Warcraft... anything you can as long as you have the time to make some benchmarking) and let's say a 1gb 1080p rendering clip. Please, also mention your specs and OC so that we get a better idea. This would make the CPU war much more clearer, hopefully.
  12. Outdated? LOL I am running a 2 core Intel cpu (very very old I forgot it's name) and a 9600GT gpu. Even though I can still play new games on 1080p (BF3 all low 25-30fps) considering BF is a pretty demanding game. So back to your question, you are definitely not outdated and will run new games for years to come.
