  1. you mean the Photoshop thing? I even use Photoshop CS6 on my secondary PC which has 128MB shared video memory with a Pentium 4 HT 3 GHz and 1GB of DDR(1)... Photoshop is not that heavy unless you render 3D or videos. and I meant CS:GO, not Source, but I figure both of those recommended GPUs are capable of running it. I'm between upgrading to 750ti and 8GB of RAM or 950 without upgrading the RAM (for now). I'll think abou it for a few days but maybe the smart choice would be the 950 and the RAM later Thank you guys!
  2. would it be good enough if I get the 750ti and 8GB of RAM instead of a 950? I'm still at 2GB of RAM because I didn't actually need more, I just design interfaces and icons in Photoshop, watch 720p Youtube videos and play CS:Condition Zero (I'll upgrade to CS: Source once I install the new GPU) //EDIT sorry, I mean CS:GO
  3. fair enough. it's a Core i5 3330 Ivy Bridge 3 GHz with 2GB RAM but the thing is... it's for general purpose. I want to be able to game if I feel like gaming (I wouldn´t mind 720p), some lightweight Photoshop (no 3D stuff), YouTube videos... standard usage, I guess
  4. that's a good point but I also mentioned... so I figure you wouldn't go for a cheap GPU just becuase of it's ports
  5. I was thinking about the GTX 960 but since MANY of you agree on the GTX 750ti (which happens to be cheaper, btw) I think I'm going with that one. I've been looking at amazon and it seems they're all 128-bit, I wonder if there's an even cheaper 64-bit version
  6. "I can't recommend a cheap graphics card, they all suck!" but, which one would be the cheapest one without taking anything else in consideration? without asking things like "for video games?, 3D rendering?, Bluray?" etc something like... "I don't recommend anything lower than this..." Thanks in advance
