Yeah, just about all of them will need to be made again, not only because the pinout is different on the 24-pin (8-pins are the same), but the PSU is a different length and the connectors are in different places and orientations so nothing neatly reaches where it should anymore. I may be able to use some of the wires again or just keep them for another project.

Would certainly be very cool to use the new Pascal ones, although thankfully for me they don't offer any real improvements other than speed (yeah that sounds dumb I know haha).  The big limit for my usage is VRAM, which Nvidia decided not to increase for the Pascal Titan Xs.  So at least I can rock myself to sleep telling my mind I don't need them haha

Just wait a it until the big block is done, now that will be interesting for sure.

Glad to be back at this, had to put it off all summer thanks to overly busy schedules and whatnot.

Cheers, hope it lives up to the hype

Haha my favourite tactic, make the pictures look like renders and the renders look like pictures

That actually sort of happened with my previous project Aetos.  AMD thought that I had finished the build months before hand and had shared the renders around.  Needless to say they were quite surprised when I said the build was done and presented them with the final pics.

MadG4mer reacted to Wyzzy Moon in Why would watercooling make you room HOTTER?
So the difference comes from the hot air staying inside the case after turning it off, if you left it allone for long enough the would come out having dumped the same amount of heat in the room, so luke's incorrect

It's also not priced like a 1080. It's priced like a 1070 and both are 20%~ slower than a 1080. It's not like a single 1080 will be able to max out any titles at 4k -- regardless you'll have to turn down settings, so with a 1070/Fury X you'll just have to turn down onre or two more.

inno3d doesn't have warranty stickers on the screws or anywhere on the board... so... it is easy to assemble  all back to default with no marks of disassemble, I even placed some plastic protection on the back plate side so the springs don't scratch it...

Well I have been using a lot of different software in my 30 years doing electronics  Protel, Orcad, PCB editor and soo.. The best software with almost all possible component with Circuit, PCB, component editor is Diptrace.  You can download free edition which will 100% fit your needs. Making boards with traces wider than 0.1mm is easy. Use Shematic editor make schematic then call PCB editor, make good placement and print on special PCB paper (works with 0.1mm) or find glossy paper from magazine (0.5mm) place paper on bakarpertinax use iron for 10min and rest you probably know. I need less then 10 easy minutes from design to PCB. Doing circuit with SMD is much easier and you don't have to make holes (I saw mosfets and resistors you bought). SMD components are better for soldering and I made so small boards with a lot of components which are also cheaper than passtrough components. This board I put in post I designed and made for 15 minutes so it is not so nice but works good.

Ironing is less usually 5-7 minutes. You can also use standard components as SMD, put it on circuit side and bend pins to board. Holes needs a lot of time.

If you have internal COM port on board and if you want I can put Diptrace PCB file of RGB controller. I used 28 pins  IC socket for ATMega which I soldier like smd.

For my last computer I used cheap esp-8266 (google it, it is great as wifi for Arduino, but also great as standalone mpc) to turn PC via wifi. With this I use simple WOL through Ethernet in my home network but I can wake it up through wifi or Internet.
