i dont think samsung has an option to how much you can charge your battery overnight. (at list not on the s20fe) but you can buy a cheap 5w charger that only does 1amp

From what I've read, you have to root the phone and either manually modify files, or use an app to make the modifications for you.

I have the S20 and absolutely love it. I think you'll be very happy coming from a S7. I had a S8 which wasn't such a huge leap but everything felt smoother and the pictures were a hell of a lot better with the S20.

I had to ship it back to them but they paid postage to send back the new item. & there was no waiting time, I received notification of them receiving the tablet and another notification of them posting out the new one that same day. New one works perfectly.

    Hello Bupalooga,
    since most, to all, files wont be write protected or administrator approval needed, i would suggest;
-attaching the 1tb and 500gb to the motherboard
-then bring up the 2tb folder view
--place to fit one side of your screen
-then bring up either the 1tb or the 500gb
--repeat as you did with the 2tb but this time to the other side of your screen
-then highlight all and click and drag
-then change the drive to the next one
-and repeat, highlight all and drag

I would wait 10 mins or until all the files are counted and starting to transfer, if no, yes no questions pop up than go to bed, it'll be awhile.
this method is as you asked, copied.

I have done this myself many times, always has worked. NEVER CUT and paste, power outage can be a prick to you then. there is no need to get software to do a manual copy.

one extra thing i do is highlight all the files/folders and right-mouse click and view properties. do this on both original and new files, see if the bits are roughly the same... some variance can occur due to placement of files on the platter, but its a good way to see if all files have been transferred.

    QUICK ANSWER
    COPY FILES.

The trackball mouse is the next step, ive also looked into it and ill see how this mouse goes first, he seems to be focusing on the keyboard right now, but since i stopped him doing that, he might try something else

So yeah.. my UP7 died Was pretty pissed, this loop isn't the easiest thing to drain
But here is how it works,
With the tap fitting on the right of the res I just put some tube and that goes down the back which goes into a jug.

Once as much water as possible has drained I then use my other tap here, which is on the side of the radiator to blow the water out. This tap is also used for filling, I open it up when filling as it allows the loop to fill up with as less air as possible, and also lets me continuously fill it without having air bubbles blow up the tube.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
about 2 weeks after this had passed I had gotten my UP7 back and was ready to start the loop again.
However I wanted to do something about my 3770K. Mine is a pretty shit one, and can barely get stable at 4.4ghz and pumps out a shit ton of heat.
So, I delidded it, (vice method) and will be running it with no lid. to maximize cooling potential.

I set up the tubing again, and set my handy towels up. And yes, that is the old coolant there.

Mixing up the coolant, here is a shot comparing the MDPC-X Orange to the Pastel Orange

After about 55 drops of yellow dye, we got this colour, though not matching the MDPC-X sleeving, it is a pretty perfect colour to the Gigabyte Orange

And a crop photo comparing them (new colour on the right)

I started to fill the loop back up, and instantly saw a clear difference between the old coolant in the left res, and the new in the right. Hope it is clear in the photo's

The stickers on the side AF120 fans were upside down, though I should make those the right way around

Here are is the new loop. Looks great!

With the NZXT Led kit, it will be powered by a Fan header. Did this in an old build and never had any problems.

Here is full shot of the desk, the top draw is missing because it no longer fits. Why is that? well, I found that the desk was a bit too tall for my liking, so I took about 8cm off off it
So took 8cm off of the legs, and off of the draw carcass (got my mum to do the carcass for my while I was at uni so no pics off that bit) and will have to cut down the draw size to get it back in there. It'll be my pen draw

Checking to make sure that the LED's are working (will get a night photo out tonight probably)

Thought I would show a size photo just to give some prospective. NOTE: I will not be using the top of the desk for my keyboard/mouse I will be making a keyboard tray this week some time (still have to figure out I will do it too) this photo was just for prospective.

First of all Sorry i didn't do an update MUCH sooner.
Since finishing the desk part and getting the system up & running Iv been doing a lot more work around the house & yard to make up for the extra time I'd spent in the shed over the last few months. Also caught up on a few other projects that had been put on hold for a while and spent the rest of my time playing games with all of the settings on max!

Sata power chain for behind the DVD drives. (was waiting in de-pinning tool to fix molex plug on the end)

    Starting on the 24pin

    New Hardware!!!

Anti vibration stuff. bought some extra to use in my Ute

780 had a scratch on it I didn't RMA because i couldn't be bothered waiting and i knew id water cool eventually.

Phobya LED's were broken. one had dead diodes the other wires had come out, emailed Phobya & the sent me 2 new ones.

    UV!

Hinged the top with 4 removable hinges

    Drawer faces are all on

Put strips of ant vibration stuff between the top & the carcase. Made a stand for the Lid & started putting the hardware inside.

PSU is mounted down the bottom of the desk.

The final moments of my old setup =,(

Everything is in Ghetto mode, i still have alot of cables to make & buy until it looks any good, but at least it works!

    Put my H60 in

    How The Beast looks!
To turn the system on atm I either have to reach in & hit the power button on the motherboard or use Splashtop to turn it on from my phone, lol.

Got a New SSD & Keyboard, Man do i LOVE the volume wheel.

Sata to molex adapters & linger sata data cable.

Some more gear from Lutro. I had him Special order 225ft of parracord for me but when i arrived it was different to the original sample i purchased from him, it was the same duller green as the eBay parracord. I emailed him the differences & he is now currently searching for more parracord the same as the original sample. He was very quick to respond to my complaint and is doing everything he can to fix it.

So the Desk has fallen down my priority list in life now that its up & running. Things to do include:
-Make & sleeve the power cables is the first thing to do.
-Make a power button & set up the Lighting.
-Sleeve & setup the fan controller.
-Make some modifications for easier MB IO access & airflow, particularly for the GPU exhaust while its air cooled.
-Get the desk in beautiful show condition.
    -Get a water loop running.
-Get a great monitor & make an awesome monitor stand.

    My complaints about Wife1.0.exe!@#$%@#$

    "Dear Helpdesk,

A while ago I've switched to Wife1.0.exe from Fiance7.0.exe and it has come to my attention that the application has installed another application called Baby1.0.exe. This application takes an immense ammount of space on the HDD. This application is not mentioned in the user manual of Wife1.0.exe.

Furthermore, the application Wife1.0.exe installs itself in all other applications en starts itself whenever I start any random application. This way it sabbotages the correct working of other applications. Some apps, like PartyAllNightLong_2.5.exe, NightOutWithFriends10.9.exe and FootballOnTV16.4.exe are completely corrupted, there's no way tot run them at all! On top of all of that, some weir background program (a virus?) automatically installs itself which leads to MotherInLaw1.0.exe to run, the whole system goes nuts and Wife1.0.exe all of a sudden does weird things.

I can't manage to uninstall this program which freaks me out, especially when I try to run the application SundayMorningSex.exe. It even looks that some parts of this have permanent bugs. For instance C:\SexOnSaturdayNight.exe refuses to run.

I'm considering to switch back to Fiance7.0.exe, but the uninstallation of Wife1.0.exe is extremely complicated and I can't quit figure out what the impact would be to my other apps like Baby1.0.exe which, I must admit, I like a lot.

    Please help me.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mathijs"

    Response from the helpdesk:

    "Dear Mathijs,

    Your complaint comes on a regular basis. A lot of users switch from FianceX.0.exe to Wife1.0.exe with the misleading idea that Wife1.0.exe is a relaxing- and utility-application is. Wife1.0.exe is a lot more than that;

It is a complete OS, designed to manage and control all of your applications. It is almost impossible to uninstall Wife1.0.exe and downgrade to FianceX.0.exe because it will behave exactly the same as Wife1.0.exe, which means that it doesn't matter too much.

The same occurs to MotherInLawX.0.exe. Applications like this, from an older generation, are derived versions from WifeX.0.exe and many times have compatibility issues. This applications are very worse protected to modern viruses, will be infected soon but will disapear by itself.

Some users try to format the complete HDD to install FiancePlus.exe of Wife2.0.exe, but this can have huge impacts (read Wife1.0.exe's user manual section XI: "Allimentation and Co-parenthood").

Important: if u install Fiance8.0.exe, don't switch immediatly to Wife2.0.exe. The compatibiltiy issues that will occur are much complex than with version 1.0.

The versions Wife3.0.exe and Wife4.0.exe after all, are for specialized users, extremely expensive and therefore not recommended for normal users.

If u can't succeed with any of this systems, I highly recommend trying out Single1.0.exe or Trio5.3.exe. But even more I advice you to keep using Wife1.0.exe and keep learning and do your very best. Personally I use Wife1.0.exe for over a decade with very much succes and from my experiences I can recommend you consulting the sections Frequently Asked Questions and Common Mistakes in the user manual.

Wife1.0.exe is a very sensitive executable and will immediatly switch to Safe Mode when a error occurs. This means that have to treat you executables with extreme causion, given the fact that with Wife1.0.exe any error that occurs, no mather which, the cause indisputable is yours.

The fix usually is using the command C:\Sorry.exe whenever any error occurs. Try not to use escape, as also backspace, cause afterwards you will have to use C:\Sorry.exe /Flowers /All to fix the application, and - as you know - you shoudn't do this too much to keep it effective.

Wife1.0.exe is a very interesting application, but can cause huge bills with the wrong use. I highly recommend ordering the expension packs Flowers5.0.exe and Jewelry2.3.exe.

Also you could try using YesBabe14.7.exe or YoureRightHun8.0.exe. This applications are available for free on the internet and the results are okay - good.

    Watch out!
Never install TonightMyFriensComeOver4.6.exe, AssistantInMiniSkirt3.3.exe or Girlfriend1.1.exe! This applications will not work in the Wife1.0 OS and will cause irreparably damage.

To make C:\SexOnSatudayNight.exe work, you should try to first run commands like C:\Tools\GetHerDrunk.exe or C:\Tools\DiamondNecklace.exe.

Just to expand a bit on what Ssoele mentioned... if you want to use as a desktop as well you are kind of limited to Windows. Which, then, use Windows 8 and use Storage Spaces. This is software based raid, so you won't need a RAID card, but an HBA only if you want more drives then onboard sata ports. Just be aware of some of the limitations of Storage Spaces, but overall it is an ok solution.

If using Storage Spaces, you can expand the "space" without for formatting. Most decent RAID cards also allow for this.

For drives in a NAS - go with RED - designed for NAS systems.

As Ssoele mentioned, I much prefer a dedicated NAS solution, I use unRaid myself. Very efficient box, tucked away in the corner. Then build yourself on "ok" family PC for doing everything else...

First of all, check out http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/46577-building-a-nas-how-do-you-start-guide/

-Getting a raid card, never had one, what should I look for in one? or will onboard raid be good enough? Will start with 4 drives, later 6 drives, 8 would be the max.

I recommend getting a RAID card, maybe a HighPoint Rocket 2720SGL would be a good solution, it can support up to 8 drives.

-Are you able to add new drives without re-formatting the whole array later down the track?

It depends on the RAID card, the HighPoint one does, according to the website.

-I have a spare 2TB barracuda i'll use but i've not decided what new drives to buy, WD Reds or Greens.

Barracuda's are fine, but I would recommend getting all the same drives (same model, same revision) because it can course problems otherwise.

-Would Caching the array be of any real benefit?

On an array for only movies, not really.

-Will Windows 8 be fine or would windows home server be a better option(never experienced it)

I would not recommend running a consumer OS on a NAS. I personally have bad experience with Windows OS's for servers. I recommend getting FreeNAS, but then you won't be able to use it as a desktop.

-What platform should i use for low power consumption but not be terrible when someone wants to use it?  FM2 APU be a good idea? 1155 i3 3220T? any i3 cpu's coming for 1150? are atom boards just tooo low end?

Check out the 'Building a NAS'-guide.

Bupalooga reacted to cravinmild in The Mod- H70/Titan hybrid cooling
Thanks, Im pretty happy with it right now :D
This particular card was difficult as in it required much more work as the shroud fits together like puzzles pieces but the mounting was no different to any other card.  First few cards I did were with zipstraps (theres a guide to follow) but I used an actual gpu/AIO bracket from a 760GC AIO unit.  There are artisans on OCN who make them for a few dollars and will ship to you, its pretty popular over on OCN.  There is one heatsink left, it covers the rear of the card ... I guess for vrm and such but the die is only cooled by the H70.
    Glad you like it ;)

I totally understand where your coming from, I was scared when I did this with a crappy old 560ti AND I didn't even like that card.  Ive ran my cards for about three years now in this mannor, I just don't see it as a risk.  Seems ... unnatural to keep stock cooling.  I honestly tired not to do it, I said I wouldn't but dam that modding itch, its unforgiving and relentless .... not doing would be like not eating.  I originally wanted to go true water cooling for this card.  While in Vancouver last week I stopped in a NCIX store with about $400 to drop on watercooling.  I was shocked to learn a 4-6 week wait on blocks.  This is all NCIXs' fault if you think about it.

OK, I understand looking at that pic of the case it looks .... untidy :P  and I can explain.  The PSU is a beta sample from Cooler Master, id removed my SS 1000w P. to test the unit I needed access to all the cables so my wire management is a mess.  I have not mounted the rad as I need to reinstall the SS unit.  I turn the fan controllers around as I have small children and they love to play with the knobs and push the lcd screen.  Its the only way to stop them ... other than beating them.  I used film from a sign shop in my town to tint the case interior red.  It was the middle of winter in Canada (so no painting) and I was completely disgusted with the drab grey interior ... grey is depressing in winter and now I had to stare at grey while in front of the pc I made to make my happy.  It was a conflict of interest and need to be gone that day.  I try to use UK3000 fans cause they look beefy and can cut your finger off so there is risk involved while messing around in the case, like an obstacle course.
I really like this case, I call her BIG RED (from that 70s show)  its an acquired taste I guess   My next case will be a test bench, Ive had enough of these "cages"   To answer your other question I do have a few ssd drives in there, I stack them up to save space, even the PS3 has a SSD.   Shes not much to look at but she gots it where it counts

It is ghetto but ive seen several comps. now releasing products which do exactly what ive done here,  hybrid custom cards based on this exact method of cooling are now considered exotic and command a premium price - asus has a wonderful example of it, zotac has done it, venders are now selling mounts and prettier versions of The Mod are now marketed.  Its also genius as you can do it with any AIO cooler to any gpu ever made or will be made.  This H70 I used has been running for the last three years straight on three different GPUs, I used it for several months on my 1055t before upgrading .... Its beyond cheap if you considered what blocks alone for three different cards would cost.

Once it get settled and comfortable with The Mod on the card ill start to push 1.3v and see what this new cooling has to offer.  A quiet pc is nice but if I can squeeze alittle more out of her ill take it.

Thanks for the comments,  post any questions and ill try to answer the best I can.

Right, So a little update. Been super busy with work and with study so haven't had much time to do the desk. Even though the updates are getting smaller, the desk is nearly finished!

    to do-
*Fan wiring from rad 1 to rad 2
    *Keyboard tray
    *Cable Management

First things first, (To my New Zealanders on the forums) www.computerlounge.co.nz sponsored me some replacement Black SATA Data cables to replace my red ones and also an NZXT 2m White LED Kit so thank you very much for this!

Anyways! I started with wiring up my GPU cables. measuring every wire, and not one being the same length. A long process however well worth it

Since double cables are the such a pain in the arse I soldered them in just for extra security as the "wings" do not bite into the top wire because of the 2-wire thickness

A long while later the cable was done! Just to make sure the measurements were accurate I put some rubber bands on them. This also helps "train" the wires so that they stay like that.

Both wires done, took me about 3 hours...

Time to sleeve! When sleeving double wires you lose the general sense of where the sleeve has to end up, and you can't really use a sleeving tool to line it up either as 16awg and 18awg would need different spacings etc *blah blah blah* TL;DR: I mark some lines to where the sleeve needs to go to with a sharpie, meaning an accurate result every time!

I then use a "dummy" connector to put the pin in while it is still hot. This comes in really handy when you have done the bottom row of double cables. Instead of trying to push ANOTHER double set on the bottom row, it is good to have the dummy connector. It lets the shrink cool down, and set with the "box" shape so that it will be easy to slide into the proper connector without deforming it.

    Finished cable

Don't think I need to elaborate too much on a basic Sleeving FAQ. For any help look at Lutro0 on YouTube. You will never need to watch another tutorial after watching his

    Midway through the 24-pin

Done! 3.5 hours of sleeving results in one 24-pin... lol

Cables in and doing a test fit. Very happy with how it's looking!
NOTE: I will probably be using the Modsmart cable clips for about 2 months. Then take them off. This should allow time for the cables to be trained and need no supports. It will be super tidy, was considering cable lacing them but personally I think it doesn't look THAT great. Trained cables needing no support will look much better

That is all for now, will have the build done by 1st of September I promise!

    Phil
