Queen Elizabeth II's Achievements

  1. My keyboard is a shockingly bad Alienware keyboard that I got with an old pre-build I bought a few years ago. It's the same story with my mouse. A new keyboard and mouse from Tesoro would be great! Kudos to them.
  2. Loyal subject, One requests and requires of her loyal subject an SSD for my new PC build. Having dispensed of ones habit of buying prebuilds one is taking the first tentative steps into building ones own Gaming PC. The SSD will go a long way in aiding that process and it would be most kind. But the real question is; Would you like a knighthood?
  3. As one might assume, I live in the United Kingdom and I'm having real trouble finding a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv case that isn't outrageously over priced like on amazon. All other British retailers apart from Overclockers don't have the item listed, or if it does it isn't in stock or on order. It's as if Phanteks is keeping the market dry to hike the prices up because I know everyone wants one. Can anyone suggest a few more retailers for me that I might not know of? I've already looked at the obvious, Overclockers, Scan etc. Thank you.
  4. Dear loyal subjects, My partner isn't very interested in videogames. She doesn't go in for shooters or RPGs or builders etc. She doesn't like violence, and she is easily bored by many of the concepts found in video games. She even got annoyed and stopped playing Portal because she got irritated by GLaDOS' "Stupid voice". There is one genre she does enjoy though and that is puzzle games. (That's why I suggested Portal). But every single puzzle game she has tried she says is easy, or not very mentally challenging where the only difficulty the developer has slapped on was a time limit. Strangely the only videogame that has really captivated was 'Zork', she didn't mind the black screen and the white text. She enjoyed the difficulty and the reliance on visualising the scene and the problem in her head. (Something you do with maths a lot) She is a Chemistry and Maths student at a very top university and loves her subjects, she wants to play video games with me because she loves me and I want to include her in this amazing hobby we all share. Guys and girls, can you help me? I need to find for her a mentally challenging game, that hopefully requires you to use complicated maths, logic or deduction or anything that is more challenging than sliding blocks and solving mazes, I want to show her that modern video games aren't all about killing and shooting. Thank you
  5. Anything less than 4-way GTX Titan X's is terrible. Save for ten years.
  6. One has actually had a bit of a rethink. Quietly, one has been reading all your comments and making a few amendments to my proposed build. It seems to me, I can do Skylake within my price range, and the RAM one has previously bought (It was a few months ago now) can be sold off when I pawn my old PC. Here is the amended list as of now; CPU: Intel Core i5 6500 OR Intel Core i5 6600K CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO GPU: Sapphire R9 390 Motherboard: Asus Z170-A RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB DDR4 Power Supply: Corsair AX860i - Platinum SSD: Samsung 850 250gb Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX - Grey
  7. One was originally intending to go with a GTX 970, but after some research one heard about the 3.5gb+0.5gb scandal and decided to look elsewhere. Any suggestions on decent GTX cards above the 970?
  8. You are both very helpful, Thank you kindly.
  9. Specifically one would like to play videogames on it. I am greatly anticipating blowing those dirty peasants out of the cosmos on Star Citizen when that game arrives. But in the meantime I'd like to run any AAA game at 1440p at 60fps. Less or more depending on the game, etc.
  10. You believe this vulgarity is bad? You are not married to Philip!
  11. Dear loyal subjects, One has around 1,220 pounds sterling to build a new PC, however one would like to check with those skilled in the knowledge of PC building if this list of components is acceptable. One would also like to hear any suggestions in terms of price to performance. The components are as follows; Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX Mid Tower case - Black CPU: Intel Quad Core i7 4790k Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 GPU: MSI R9 390X 8GB Power Supply: Corsair RMx 750watt, GOLD, Fully modular SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB OS: Windows 10 Home One already has adequate peripherals, and we have previously bought Corsair Pro Vengeance 2x8GB DDR3 RAM so RAM isn't necessary in this purchase. Thank you kindly for your time and help.
