  1. I got a free set of wireless bluetooth earbuds, but they suffer from audio lag. Normally not noticeable unless you're watching a video. Then there's just enough lag to make it annoying. Not looking for top of the line, just a beater pair of wireless ear buds for work. I have to get up and move constantly from my computer. Just trying to make it easier with wireless. I have some old Sennheiser TR120's too, sound quality aside when you don't have sound going through them they turn the signal off. And when it shuts off it blasts loud white noise. Is there no such thing as good wireless headphones? Makes me more sad with all the headphone jacks going away.
  2. Oh wow hot swappable and everything that's perfect. 8 bays is probably plenty. I have 4 4TB drives, I will probably start buying bigger drives rather than more smaller ones. 8TB drives are priced pretty good right now.
  3. I need a case that has space for at least 10 drives, but more would be good. Don't care about looks at all, it's tucked away out of sight anyways. Should I be looking at actual server cases? Is that a way to get the most hard drive bays? If it could fit a 240mm radiator too, that'd be super helpful. Any suggestions?
  4. Network discovery is enabled and the network was set to private.
  5. The drive is shared. I can connect to it on multiple wired computers. I can even connect to it from a mac on wifi. Only on windows 10 with wifi I can't connect. I'm not using a homegroup cause I have other computers. So I'm just sharing the drive via the network.
  6. I'm on Windows 10. I can connect to my network drive and see the computer it's on in my Network settings no problem. On wifi I don't see anything and can't connect to the drive. My wireless network is set to private. Any idea what might be happening?
  7. Ah thanks, ran it and sure enough found a bitcoin miner. No clue how I got it but I'll be keeping this running for now. I'm monitoring things now, seems okay.
  8. I started trying to play games today and noticed my frame rates were just awful. Closed my game, reinstalled drivers, restarted and all that good stuff. Just sitting on the desktop my GPU is running at 97-99%. I've closed everything I knew what it was in task manager. Any other ideas what could be going on? I thought it could be bitcoin virus or something. Windows Defender didn't pick up anything, any recommendations on Anti Virus that doesn't suck? Any other ideas?
  9. Yeah I figured there was power coming through for charging devices. I'll check the Device manager settings though!
  10. It's just in a USB Port in the back of my PC.
  11. I got a USB LED Strip for the back of my desk and my hopes was that it would shut off when the computer when to sleep but it stays on. It's pretty bright at night, is there any setting or anything I can do to shut it off? Currently my keyboard/mouse LED's shut off when it's asleep if that matters.
  12. I'm a little confused.. that seems to show MegaBYTEs (MB/s) not MegaBITS (Mbps). So if that's true I should be capable of more speed. However... After running Crystal Disk I found out that my hard drives are my bottleneck. They are only getting 30-40MB/s. I think it's how I have my RAID setup, I'm backing up my data now then I'm going to try changing that up.
  13. Hmmm I guess that could be it then. Sata3 SSD to Sata3 WD Red HDD.
  14. I just tried a wired connection, it went fast for the first few seconds and then it petered out. Down to a less than 200Mbps speed. So does this mean the computer I'm transferring to is bottlenecking?
