  1. No they just aren't as smooth as they should be. At times it dips pretty low and then goes back to normal. (with no change in fps)
  2. Recently I moved homes and after setting up my pc I noticed that I was getting random frame stuttering, yet my fortnite in-game fps counter was showing a constant 144fps. (which is the frame limit I set) What could be causing this? The internet seems to be stable when running various tests, and I'm not sure what else could cause lag without dropping frames.
  3. I think its just a gpu problem, because ever since I've gotten it, the problem has been happening, and I don't think I should be losing frames like that just from having a stream open.
  4. might just test the gpu by swapping it with my old 750ti and seeing what happens
  5. i7 6700k 16gb crucial ram 480gb ocz ssd gtx 970 photon 750w ps asrock z170 pro4s mobo
  6. its not the cpu for sure or the ram(recently upgraded them), been having this issue since I upgraded to the 970, and even did a whole pc reset to see if it fixed it. The gpu has been acting weird, for example, i got 100% gpu usage while in main menu of h1z1, and much less while actually playing, as well as a few random driver crashes. Even with only the twitch chat i lose frames, basically anything on the second monitor causes lag.
  7. When playing games and having a stream on the second monitor I go from 100+ fps to less than 30, with terrible studdering, although there is nearly no lag when having it minimized. Would this have to do with a faulty gpu? when nearly anything is on the second monitor and I'm gaming there is a HUGE drop in frames. The gpu I have is the Gigabyte Windforce gtx 970. This is really annoying due to the fact that I can't play and watch youtube, or even just watch twitch chat while streaming.
  8. After nearly 3 hours of looking, SOMEHOW I HAD 360gb OF FREAKING PREVIOUS FILE VERSIONS WTF
  9. Just used a similiar program, and it detected that the C: drive is 50gb, and windows says the whole drive is still over 400gb
  10. Ive been using a partition wizard, and it shows up as 400gb in there and cant be shrunk at all. No idea what is taking up so much space, atm im trying to analyze whats taking up the space by using a disk analyzer.
  11. So I'm trying to migrate my OS to a smaller ssd. I made a system image to backup to after the process is over, so i started deleting all of the files that arent needed to run windows. [program files, user documents, etc.] After narrowing down the C: drive, all of the folders in it added up to 40gb. Though this is not the case when I right click the drive, it says it is 400gb even though I have literally only bare windows and a few program files in the hdd. Any ideas on how to fix this, I cant migrate the os when its 400gb and my ssd is 120gb.
  12. I tried it, and it said my ssd is too small to hold it. You said to perform a backup to a drive, and then restore it to the SSD. How would I do this?
  13. When you say clone, do you mean copy and paste windows into the ssd, and then boot off the ssd and then delete it off the hdd?
